RATFISH

Tower to the sun, mouse parade

.

Ratfish had found some food. A mouse dangled from its jaw, held by the scrawny tail, its pelt all mangy and wet, but Ratfish did not care. It had found food and it could give the food to Tick-Tock. It looked like the cat had caught the mouse this way, but Ratfish knew they hadn't and would not lie to their brother about it.

Dropping it at Tick-Tock's feet, they finally spoke. "Found mouse. Dead." Yeah... they found a dead mouse. What it had died from, Ratfish did not know, but it also did not care. What mattered was this was food and food was to be eaten. And lately, there had been less and less food to fill their bellies with.

They couldn't keep relying on Barbie's kindness, not if they wanted to stay here. And Ratfish wanted to stay here, because they could get all kinds of trinkets in this place and they were safe. What else could they ask for?

OOC: @Tick-Tock

Tick Tock hadnt found anything for food. And he scavenged, and scavenged. His paws hurt, his belly grumbled, and in his frustration, he kicked a metal can that made his ears flatten and body flinch as it clanged and clunked against the ground. Well, he knew Rat would be happy at least. In his time of scavenging, he had found a shiny object, almost like glass. When he held it up, he could almost see through it, but it was slippery and rolled smoothly across the ground smoothly (An opaque marble) He wasn't completely sure that Rat would like such an object, but it was entertaining nonetheless. If Rat wanted it, Tick Tock would not complain, but he was sure if Rat did not want it, he would find someone who will- and perhaps trade it for food-

and speaking of, Rat approaches, form so quickly growing bigger than Tick Tock now. When he stood in front of Rat in his protectiveness, Rat was an overpowering form behind him- but he again did not complain. Despite being bigger, Tick Tock knew he was soft, gentle giant even. And Tick Tock did not want to see rat getting hurt. Rat disposed of the caracass of the mouse- proclaiming finding it, and Ticktocks green gaze glittered in satsifaction. Whether Rat found it or not, he was happy to know his sibling came to share. "Good. Rat? You like this?" He asked, letting the small ball roll from underneath his paw. "Also, share?" He asked, before taking a bite and chewing at the dried meat. His lips curled a bit, but it wasnt the worst thing the pair had eaten before.
