𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 The afternoon sun still hangs high in the sky, only just beginning its descent toward the horizon. A stiff breeze cuts its way through the camp, rustling reeds and brushing against woven dens. The weather has been growing steadily colder, and two RiverClanners have been taking full advantage of the chill outside. Mashed together in one of the nests within the nursery, pelts of sunlit gold and snowcapped chocolate press against one another, snoozing comfortably in the calm den. But eventually one begins to stir, gradually returning to wakefulness. "Mmmornin'," they mumble, shifting in the nest so their head rests atop the other kit's back. Their jaws part in a deep yawn, and they give a short stretch of their forepaws, nearly tumbling right out of the nest as they do so. Their eyes slip shut for a few more moments before they decide that it's really time to get up.
They lift their head from golden fur again, instead glancing around the nursery before asking in a hushed voice, "D'you wanna go do somethin'?" They tilt their chin toward the nursery's entrance, to the wider camp beyond. Open space, an ideal host for the exploration of a couple curious kittens keen on picking through the shallows for pretty stones and other small objects. If only it wasn't so exposed… that's how Melodykit got hurt in the first place, after all. Pricklekit feels a little guilty for suggesting it, but they also think it would be nice to do fun things with their friend again.
