 ShadowClan has spent the last moon lying low in the continual wake of the spectacle at July's gathering. However, WindClan remains the only clan that can be trusted in full. Still, ShadowClan has been enjoying the remainder of green-leaf bounty and prepares for the coming leaf-fall changes.
​
 The September gathering is attended through apprehension. ShadowClan is reluctant to socialize with the other clans and maintains a guarded stance with strangers.

September's meeting serves as a hallmark for ShadowClan's prosperity, as several apprentices and warriors are named.
Vulturepaw is named Vulturehound in honor of his stealth and boldness
Stoatpaw is named Stoatstream in honor of her ability to remain calm and in control
Blightkit is apprenticed to Hollowmist as Blightpaw
Mockingkit is apprenticed to Grayflight as Mockingpaw​

Cicadabuzz spends some time cleaning out bugs den, leading to idle conversation about carcasses and keeping clean.
A WindClan patrol appears along the thunderpath. This patrol is uneventful, though there does seem to be a particularly annoying horsefly lingering.
Dreampaw questions why there is such disdain between ThunderClan and ShadowClan, opening dialogue between clanmates with regard to the matter.

Crowpaw joins ShadowClan after being chased by coyotes that attacked their mother.
Sablestar returns to camp with a kit named Saffronkit that had been found at fourtrees with her siblings in the moon previous. The littermates were divided among the clans.
