Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.
OWO whats this? It looks like this could be ShadowClan's first Clan event! Ever since strange occurrences began, your Clanmates have an eerie sense of being stalked, followed, and may even hear the sound of whispers if they listen.
Sablestar has taken it upon himself to gear up in preparations for what this may mean by building his council. However, there is still work to be done! In this event the Clan will rediscover the methods and behaviors of the ancient past by taking on more scheduled patrols, keeping dens cleaned, taking responsibility for their apprentices, and so on- all while navigating the mystery of events going on in the pocosin.
HOW DOES IT WORK?!
โ this event is expected to run for a tentative two weeks but is likely to extend by one extra week based on participation!
โ a form will be provided below for you to keep track of your ocs posts for prompts so the HP team can calculate correctly!
โ each oc may post a maximum of two prompt threads and a minimum of three replies to separate prompts to qualify for rewards! please make sure to quote the prompt you are using in the original post of a thread
โ if you have several ocs attending, YOU the writer may still only claim one prize
โ spooky prompts can be collaborated with guest star appearances from dark forest cats with permission of their player
WHAT ARE THE REWARDS?!
โ whoever has the most posts (threads created + replies combined) will earn a reward of 100FK
โ there is an opportunity for a 2nd and 3rd runner up, each will receive an reward of 50FK
โ should there be a tie, FK will be adjusted and split to reward appropriately but may be at the expense of removing a runner up.
โ UPDATED REWARD any character that has made AT LEAST one reply or thread participating in the event is eligible for a BADGE! which will be revealed shortly after the event is concluded and points are tallied.

- the deputy has assigned your character a horribly boring patrol, how do they keep themselves entertained?
- some clanmates may complain about the abundance of frogs over mice or squirrels, but your characters hunting patrol is still pretty successful regardless of poor taste. are they proud of this patrols gain? or does another night of amphibian food bring them down?
- after a long night of confusion and scare, it's time to lull the kits back to sleep. how does your character calm them down?
- the kits want to hear stories about what could possibly be going on, how does your character indulge them?
- it's time to clean the kits after a rough game of mudfighting!
- your (caretaker) character is given a moment away from the nursery as an apprentice promises to watch the kits in their absence. while the fresh air feels great, they have the sneaking suspicion something is watching them
- your characters mentor mentioned something about replacing nests in the nursery, how successful are they? do they get help, do the kits distract them, or do theytrick them into doing the work?
- uh oh, looks like the rainstorms weakened some of the dens in camp! time to get to work and fix them up, how well does your character work in a team for this?
- your character goes to one of their new night guards for advice, how well does this go for them?
- your character takes the time to investigate one of the landmarks in shadowclans territory. what do they discover?
- your character discovers an uncommon/rare animal or plant off the shadowclan guide! what do they do with it?
- your character sets out to teach an apprentice a new skill/your character asks a warrior to teach them a new skill

- your character uses the reflection of a puddle to try and clear the muck off their face, and they swear they can see another face but- they blink- it's gone
- while the rain is heavy, your character is briefly separated from their patrol. they think theyve spotted them, but as they begin to approach it disappears into the mist and notice there is no trail left behind...
- your character comes across a strange collection of bones on their patrol and they look eerily catlike
- the wind may be awfully loud, but your character swears they can hear the cries of another cat in the distance. do they try to listen?
- the night has left your character feeling uncomfortably restless, so they take a few laps around camp to tire out. they start to feel drowsy until they notice several pairs of glowing eyes from the pines peering down at them. they just as quickly disappear
- teaching some apprentices how to perfect their stalk, the silence is disturbed by the sudden snap of a twig. when your character goes to investigate, nothing appears to have left a trace
- it's typical for kits to develop imaginary friends, but your character swears this friend theyve met is not imaginary! how do they explain it to the caretakers and denmates?
- your character scares their denmates by pretending to be possessed by these angry spirits everyones talking about!
- your character is walking through the pocosin and suddenly notices they can see their own breath while feeling an unusual chill. when they look around, a trail of pawprints appear to have stomped over their own
- while on patrol, a fog begins to surround your character(s) and they are overwhelmed by the scent of rot
