{$title} Morningpaw is fascinated by a rock.
Purple eyes stared at the stone in front of them, and then blinked. It was actually really pretty. Her tail swished back and forth in a now uncommon display of happiness. Morningpaw hadn't had the best of days lately, and it was rare to see her look so happy about something even on a good day.

What had started as a slightly painful incident, tripping on the very stone she was now fascinated by, had turned into wonder. She flipped it over with her paw, staring at its coloration. Perhaps it was fairly simple to some, but to her... It was something special.

"Maybe I should look for more," Morningpaw mused softly as she brought it back to her nest. It made her happy, and she so desperately craved that feeling.

Dimmingsun passes by the idle apprentice more than once. He doesn't think much about it at first, too preoccupied with clearing out debris from the den—something that is giving him major déjà vu, considering how much more often he has to do it. But when Morningpaw refuses to move for a longer period of time, he can't resist the urge to peek over her shoulder. The 'paws are normally always on the move... or if they aren't, then their mentor or another senior warrior will quickly urge them to make something of the day. Make the most of it, they'd say. Don't waste daylight, they'd say.

Being an apprentice must be quite annoying.

To help ease his confusion, Morningpaw hums to herself. It takes Dimmingsun a moment to realize that she is talking about... a rock? He can't say there is anything special about this one, but he won't rain on her parade.

"I can give you more for your collection, if you want,"
he proposes. Many paws walk through the medicine cat den day after day; it is only natural that it would send more pebbles inwards, eventually slipping into the otherwise-soft nests of the present patients. Dimmingsun can only think of them as a nuisance. Evidently, Morningpaw has other ideas.

Talonpaw didn't find enjoyment in the small things. Sunsets and sunrises were not amusing to him, colourful - bright, almost annoying. The clouds were simple shapes, flowers were colourful petals of some type of herb or decoration that he did not care much about- except for Meadowpaws sake. He used to however say, he did not find enjoyment in talking with others, but over time- he grew comfortable with the idea of talking to two specific apprentices; Meadowpaw- and Morningpaw.

They have seen the bad sides of him, and they still didn't hesitate to talk to him. Well, morningpaw did but nonetheless, it was seeming to just be who she was. And he didn't blame her. He had noticed her tumble- and said nothing, keeping a watchful blue eye on her before drifting off to continue observing. It didn't seem to catch his attention either until Dimmingsun approached her, and he realized. She had been sitting there and awfully long time.

A gentle sway of his tail as he stood up, before pushing forward, carefully pulling himself closer before staring at the rock she was staring at. Beats passed, and finally he felt the need to ask his question. "Why were y' starin' at it?" He says, following her in stride as she pushed it into her nest. "tell me about it. Is y' head okay after y' fell?"

Maybe it was a bit too blunt, especially with dimmingsun right there but to him it seemed like a simple rock, and maybe she did hurt herself. He just needed to know she was okay, and the intrigue she felt to be explained.

The near-complete albino is one of the many apprentices often urged to his paws, encourage to make the most of their days. However given the lightness of his fur, it's entirely too difficult to do that, at least without risking a sunburn. His own mentor seems to understand and allow him to rest the daylight hours away. Other warriors... well, Charitypaw supposes they've grown tired of losing their voices over it. Nonetheless, Morningpaw enters the apprentice's burrow with a little stone, both Dimmingsun and Talonpaw following after her. Dimmingsun wants to offer her more stones, while Talonpaw grows more curious as to her state of mind.

"Tch... kids, am I right?" Charitypaw muses, as if he isn't far from their age. He stands, stretches, and moves to leave the duo alone. Hm... alone, with the curious and ever helpful Dimmingsun chaperoning. Sounds like a grand 'ole time. "Do tell me if they merge their nests?" he mutters as he walks past the new medicine cat, ears craning, "Young love is... quite a nuisance to sleep beside. I imagine the purrs to be like bear snores," a casual, yet dirt-eating grin, and the tom is off into the sun, quick to dart into the next shady spot.
