JANUARY ANNOUNCEMENTS 2026
NEW YEAR, NEW PURRGATORY! A lot of things have been worked on as we move into the new year and as such some reminders for things that might've been missed will be listed as well alongside the massive list! Thank you so much to everyone for your feedback with the survey, a thank you and feedback is going to be individually DMd to those who submitted suggestions/critique and general commentary though some of you have already been asked opinions on changes we've made! It is thanks to your honest communication that we can make strides to improve and adjust!
We'd like to extend some courtesy reminders to people that per our rules we ask you not to doublepost before all parties in a thread have received a chance to reply, if it has been some time you are welcome to reach out to people to ask if they intend to reply or can they be skipped! Remember communication is always the best solution to any problem, no matter how small!
In addition we want to highlight a section of our rules regarding offsite behavior. While we do not intend to monitor, search up or otherwise 'stalk' people, if an incident in which you act in a way morally against what we stand for is reported we will look into it and we will act accordingly. What you do in your private places is of no concern to those outside it and we will not condemn people having vent chats or places to talk with their friends but what you post publicly can be seen by everyone and it will be handled with the level of care and attention we would handle onsite reports of rule breaks depending on severity.
One of the major projects we have been working on is changing up the site guides to be easier to navigate, as such the Guidebook and everything attaches has received a HUGE overhaul!
The Guidebook is now a proper central hub for navigation with a 'Table of Contents' page.
We introduced our new Discord, splitting apart personal channels and clan information into two to help with organization! They are all listed there now!
This includes our Server Boost Incentive thread!
General Site Rules have not been changed, but the page has been cleaned up.
We would like to reminder everyone of our rules regarding tracing! Tracing to learn is perfectly fine, but this studying should not be shared. Posting traced work is not allowed, posting heavily referenced work without a disclaimer it is heavily referenced and sharing the original is considered dishonest and misleading.
Traditional Rules are our rules relating to the roleplay itself and have been condensed - combined the dictionary and etiquette guide as well as merging the naming and genetic guidelines back once more! It's all on one neat little page. Some things are still being updated/adjusted for more clarity but here are the changes:
Our shipping guidelines have received their own section now, emphasis on timelines for age gaps and not permitted ship concepts are listed for everyone's comfort, please read up on these at your earliest convenience!
Genetics guide now has basics for character appearances in the works with a general size and allowances listed as we flesh it out more thoroughly. The genetic defects guide has been merged with this section for easier viewing.
Our roleplay etiquette and HP expectations will be receiving more adjustments soon!
The Guide to the Afterlife has been HEAVILY updated, the afterlife conduct laws have been moved here and more information and edits have been made to the overall lore of our afterlives to both enhance them and remove some unfortunately phrased aspects.
The Afterlife Census has been revamped and now includes a 'Life well Lived' badge for characters who died in the roleplay!
The Afterlife Check-in now exists! You may now check-in backwritten dead characters to roleplay in the afterlife within some restrictions listed!
The Site Supporter Information thread is now automated! To claim your supporter badge through here please post with your donation proof! Membership badges are still applied manually!
Other Guides
The Warrior & Medicine Cat Code now lists info on SkyClan knowing the code already as well as which codes exist currently!
The Shop & Power Guide has been updated and now has more information! It has been split into two sections: paid and free shop items. An FAQ for commonly asked questions is currently being worked on.
Clan Ranks & Rules has been cleaned up and a new...future teaser for a rank has been added!
The Medicine Cat Guide now has more sections for organization, individual clan herbs are in its own tab. An injury timeline is in the works!
NonClan Information now has details on the outer territory groups of nonclan cats and a ...spot for something new at the bottom? What's this?

THUNDERCLAN - Loonstar loses a life as the clan finds dogs amidst their woods. The clan take it easy this leafbare.
SHADOWCLAN - Cicadabuzz is injured and put on rest leaving Magpiepaw the sole medicine cat, Wolfpack is exiled after a disagreement with Sablestar. ShadowClan continues to struggle for prey and Sablestar pushes to take from neighboring clans more.
SKYCLAN - A conflict with WindClan arises leaving Hawkstar losing a life in the gorge after a clanmate kills a WindClanner and they retaliate.
RIVERCLAN - Pikestar adds Pebbledream, Smokewreath and Willowburn to his council. Adder's shadow continues to loom over the clan.
WINDCLAN - WindClan's clash with SkyClan ends in the loss of Dustystar, leaving Goldenroar to step up as leader and the clan heartbroken. -
