One of the first things most cats notice about Sanctity is her size. Standing at 16" at the shoulder and weighing 22 pounds, she cuts an imposing figure to any who come across her. She has the build to match her height, bulky and thick with muscle, with broad shoulders and strong forelegs. Long-legged and long-tailed, Sanctity occupies plenty of space in any place she inhabits, and does not shy away from showing it.
Her fur is done up in conservatively dark shades, charcoal fading into smoky black, tipped with rusting red at the legs and face. Fawn markings knot a rosary-esque shape around her neck and wrists, and leave half-moon shapes under each eye. Snowy white covers her from chin to chest, reminiscent of a nun's habit, and coats her tail and paws.
Although she does little to tend it beyond basic grooming, her fur is richly textured, falling around her face in thick plumes and curling around her jaw to frame it. Feathery tufts line her chest, insulating her against winter's chill, and her tail is a massive heap of fluffy, dove-colored fur. It's cropped short and velvety around her belly and back, outlining the shift of muscle in her shoulders.
Arguably her second most prominent feature is her eyes. Doe-brown, round and haunting, they tend to fix sternly on anyone they find. She rarely blinks, leaving the world to be scourged by her righteous gaze, feathered by black lashes and stained a rich whiskey-brown. Most of her features trend in the same creepy direction; hollow cheeks, solemn mouth, harsh jaw. Her muzzle is long and wolfish, pulling its way down to a blunted nose and small chin.
Sanctity is a very still creature. She does not idly fidget, and every movement is done with a purpose in mind. Much of the time, she remains eerily still, although a tail or paw will occasionally escape her strict control to twitch. When she does move, she does so with practiced formality and surprising grace for a cat of her size. She has very good posture and holds her head high, lending her a clerical air.
