Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished! It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.

  • ★ empathetic, mysterious, spiritual, calculating, prideful, protective. → kindness is what drives willow throughout their days. it is a key trait to their personality, and a descriptor any of their friends would give if asked. they find value in good relationships and friendship rather than in fear and control, and it allows them to be empathetic and well meaning in their actions. loyalty is paramount to willow's personality as well. she was built to love, and her brand of loyalty is just that - love. love for her future clan and her friends, love for her future children and mate, it's all wrapped up in how she carries herself on an every day basis. she is loyal to the river because she loves the river.

    even before willow joins riverclan, when she is just willow the ship-yard cat, she carries with her a strong sense of spirituality. it has always been centered on the moon and stars, these night sky ornaments becoming guiding points for the young molly when she was first a ship's mouser. in the future, of course, she will know that they are spirits and she will welcome the idea of starclan with open paws. kindhearted and just though willow is, her true skill is diplomacy and the plotting and planning that come with it. she is smart, mind made for delicate details, and she uses it to her and her family's advantage. she will never fully trust a stranger, and is difficult to get to know. she will expect and prepare for the worst in every cat she meets, making her seem rather cold should someone prove to be untrustworthy. this is a woman who is difficult to disappoint because she has decided no one is worth trusting as far as she can throw them.

    HISTORY cowboy and tbd met moons ago when they were both around 30 moons old. tbd was being attacked by a fox, and cowboy rescued them. tbd decided to settle in the barn, and after a few moons, the two grew close and became mates. they had a litter of one kit, and now live peacefully with their extended family. cowboy and (tbd)'s daughter, lamb, died a few moons after she gave birth to two kittens. many moons have passed since then, and cowboy and his mate have looked after their grandchildren with the same love they raised their daughter with.

  • ★ curious, brave, calculating, intelligent, rash, bold, a bleeding heart → enraptured by the idea of warriorhood, it is this child's greatest ambition to serve his clan with everything he has. in kithood, one could call him almost a 'fanboy' of his favorite warriors from his father's clan, idolizing particularly his father himself, who he believes to be the strongest warrior. a deeper, quieter part of himself yearns for a stronger relationship with his mother, juniperstar, but he holds it in, not speaking this desire into existence. there is a glint in the boy's eye every time he speaks of fighting in battle, and he will often be found practicing his battle moves. there is a naïve spark to this boy, the golden child of sablestar. his kit moons are relatively carefree, the idyllic childhood of a well kept prince, protected and nurtured by the world around him.

    in time, the boy becomes an apprentice, and something shifts. perhaps the reality of his situation is expressed to her, finding the truth to be lackluster, the golden imaginings of a kit washed away to something more realistic. perhaps he figures out finally that thunderclan is an enemy, as is his sibling, locked in the clutches of a foreign clan. whisperings among his clanmates of his crossclan heritage, comparisons to thunderclan whenever he shows weakness. the boy changes upon apprenticehood. still a cat with few wants more than to serve, he becomes more of a soldier than a knight. diligent, gruff and often bored seeming, he will prefer solitude to company and will get annoyed quite easily. disappointment in his clanmates will come easily, and he will seek encouragement and adoration wherever he can find it.

    as a young warrior, perhaps he gets his spark back. he will never be the same little boy, but there is something there, a kind, honorable knight returning. all of this is subject to change throughout rp.
