SWEETNOSE x HONEYFLOWER - a windclan litter

"We are honey and the bee."

Sweetnose and Honeyflower are kithood sweethearts, both having grown up in the barn and becoming fast friends thanks to Honeyflower's general enthusiastic and extroverted cheer that helped pull Sweet from his quiet and withdrawn demeanor. If asked its hard to get an exact timeframe of when they decided to become mates it is vaguely referred to as 'having just happened', a natural progression of their closeness. The barn burning and WindClan's sudden development left both feeling shaken and while Honeyflower became a Gale Guard to assist in keeping their new home pulled together, Sweetnose was left with a lot of idle time thinking about the future and eventually broached the question of...'do you ever want kits?' unprompted one day. After a brief and awkward discussion both realized they very much wanted to be parents.

Kits are primarily named based on things like texture and scent and generally stuff that he likes or associates with Honeyflower., Texture terms - Soft, Fluffy, Downy, Curly, Bristle, Fuzzy, Warm..., Scents - Milk, Flower (& types of flowers), Hay, Wheat, Grass..., Family Names - Bee, Bumble, Buzz, Nectar, Hive, Wasp, Honeycomb, Sting, Hum..., WindClan inspired - Moor, Valley, Burrow, Field, Rabbit, Bunny..., Visual names - Colors, patterns, size etc... Legacy names - Won't name in honor of specific cats to try and let the kits have their own unique identity. The exception being the bee-naming theme of his family. a little explorer, it seems, miss independent and all "i can do it myself" - a love for the unknown flares within her heart, especially so a curiosity for the twolegs she has heard so much about from the older cats in the clans. a dragon-like hoarder, they LOVE collecting various trinkets from twolegs (their most favored is a button) and LOVE accessorizing themself with what they find.

  honeycombkit is a stumpy little thing, shorter than most kittens, a bit stocky, round and well-muscled. thankfully, though, it will come with its advantages: it's obvious from the moment they're born that they'll be a tunneler! whether this is what honeycomb wants, on the other hand, is a different question...
  
  their fur is coarse and thicker than most coats, not exactly the softest and it certainly doesn't help that they're constantly running around with sticks and mud caked in to their fur. their fur itself is a a gradient of chocolate, and unbeknownst to her, something akin to a bee marking rests on their flank. dull green eyes sit upon a face that is typically blank or annoyed. they also decorate themselves with various trinkets or flowers, most of the time she can be found with dandelions placed upon her head like horns and her most treasured item: a button with insect wings attached to it.

  honeycombkit is not the kindest of all kits, often times blunt and truthful to the point where it might just end up hurting feelings; she sees no need to sugar coat things, though perhaps this will be a skill learned through the nurturement of her parents. And perhaps shes too brave for her own good, not afraid to state her opinion on things that doesn't need her opinion, unafraid of all things that other kits deem to be scary... And maybe all in all, shes slightly lazy when not off exploring, she hates menial chores and hates being involved with anything that has to do with anything other than her interests.
  
  Despite all the time spend napping or complaining, they're a very observant creature, committing small, stupid details to memory, more specifically for their friends & family.
  
  Honeycombs loyalty to one thing is fickle. To her family? Honeycomb would defend them with her life, unafraid and willing. To her Clan...? Well, Honeycomb doesn't like to be tied down to a leader who can tell her what she can and can't do, and will often struggle with loving and defending Windclan.

  lotuskit appears to be born to windclan's ancestors themselves. while much of the clan still boasts their rogue and loner heritage in their builds, the young molly appears willowy, as if the wind itself will blow her over. while their fur is dense and plush, it does little to obscure the length and supposed fragility of their limbs. some would assume that she's hardly a fall from breaking a leg, but in truth she is the entire opposite. lotuskit, despite their frame, is a sturdy and healthy cat of the moors.
  
  the color of her fur seems parsed solely from honeyflower; the grey of her mother dominates the majority of her pelt, whilst the cream and white seems to scrape and speckle their way into existence. star-freckles flicker to life across their cheeks and near their ankles, as if starclan themselves have blessed their more peculiar of markings. dainty blue eyes are set on her face, often lost to the skyline, curious and hazed with wanderlust.

  lotuskit, as a child, often treads the edges of their camp. she adores watching as patrol, as well as requesting gifts of the moors upon their return. their pelt is often cluttered with these sorts of gifts - grasses and petals and hay stems and more. their curiosity and softened sense of adventure kick in when cats begin to bring them items not of the moorland, such as oak leaves of thunderclan or pine nettles from skyclan. the idea of her escapist thoughts tremor early in her frame, but only become fully realized once she understands that there is more out there.
  
  she is loving and caring for her siblings and clanmates, if not boastful in the same breath. while maybe not the loudest child, lotuskit proves to be the one they must watch out for. for as soon as they get that taste of freedom, they forget their manners; most often do warriors deny them trips out of camp to see the outside world. it is always far easier to just... slip away, and deal with the repercussions after. rebellion, perhaps not, but as they learn and grow, they don't often see the danger in their flighty actions.

  with family, lotuskit is her most vulnerable. her siblings and parents are forever aware of her deepest desires to explore the forest and the clans, to obtain endless knowledge at any cost. she absorbs their worry as a promise of their love rather than a threat to trim her wings. she loves her parents and would never see a world where her actions would truly hurt them.
  with windclan, lotuskit is ever open and excited. they love to mingle with the warriors of the clan, specifically, just to earn new knowledge of the world outside of their camp. she can often be seen as the kitten attending in camp lessons for the apprentices, not to learn how to fight or hunt, but rather eager to understand politics and landmarks.
  with other clans, lotuskit/paw would find camaraderie of sorts. ever wanting new trinkets and presents, they are willing to befriend cats of all kinds just to secure new wonders in their nest. borders often mean nothing to her once she gets permission to cross them, however perhaps she is only one bad incident away from learning otherwise.

• born of one of the more passive clans, lotuskit grows up with a false sense of security. this leads her to escape camp once or twice and return unscathed, but to the chagrin of many of her clan mates. it is her last time, leaving camp as a child, that truly sorts her into trouble that she must be saved from. (maybe instate a rule that kits cannot leave camp?)
  regardless, she can never quite shake that need to explore and absorb information. she makes friends across many borders and uses that companionship as a means to explore their lands, with or without repercussions. their mentor becomes exasperated by their behavior and they have to be placed with another, more stern mentor to try and correct this behavior.
  this character, being a literal au of another character, will not have the same plot beats as their original rendition. lotuskit is meant to explore that character archetype in a world where the lands aren't as divided and homeland pride isn't yet in her blood. that said, if some things line up that are eerily close to her counterpart... who am i to say no?​

BUNNYKIT windclan kit

bunny is a confident and luxurious girl. born to loving parents, bunnykit has learned from a very young age that her faults are few and far between. she is of course a very friendly kitty- outgoing and social with all of her clanmates- but she enjoys the attention moreso than she enjoys being kind. sweetnose and honeyflower, being that they are loving and responsible parents, raise bunny to be polite and welcoming towards others. but bunny is a lot more interested in keeping up with appearances and climbing the social ladder, especially when she becomes an older apprentice into warriorhood.

  bunny is a sepia patterened chocolate-furred molly; a nice mixture of colors between the black fur of her father and the lighter tortoiseshell shades of her mother. her face, ears, paws, and tail are a rich shade of brown that fade into a softer, oaky color as her fur progresses to the rest of her body. the dark hues of her face make her amber eyes stand out as often striking, mostly due to her propensity for staring and evaluating. similar to her namesake, she has round and soft features. she is small in build and slightly stocky, if not somewhat low to the ground. her fur is soft and well-kept, a great point of pride for the windclanner.

  as previously mentioned, bunny is a very sociable girl. she's outgoing and seeks to be the center of attention. she always wants to be in the "know" and jumps into conversations and chatter easily; one such way she does this is by memorizing key details about individuals to familiarize herself with them. yes, bunny has a lot of friends and acquaintances. she is obsessed with being a part of the social climb and making sure that everybody knows every detail about her. she prefers the social climb to more trivial pursuits like battle training or hunting, and more than once she might be caught shirking her duties to chat with friends instead.
  
  despite her social nature, bunny certainly does not view all of her clanmates as equals. nor does she mind metaphorically stepping on the backs of others to lift herself up. bunny has a great sense of self-importance, and tends to dismiss the feelings or thoughts of others to care for her own. mostly due to her own nature than her upbringing, bunny believes she is inherently superior to many others, more capable, and definitely more deserving. she has a sort of blind confidence that is often inflated by her tendency to surround herself with cats of a similar or more meek nature, and lacks the ability to accept criticism with grace. bunny may tend to hide insecurities; perhaps even convincing clanmates to say they saw her catch an impressive hare or ward off a predator once or twice.
  
  still, for all of her arrogance, bunny is genuinely very smart. though she tends to use it to her own advantage rather than the good of others (especially as an apprentice and young warrior), her astute nature makes her quick on her feet and able to level-headedly assess a situation. she is strategic (again, a skill she tends to use for nefarious purposes in her youth) and clever. she has a good sense of judgment, both for individuals and circumstances, and tends to be able to keep herself and others on the right track... well, for the most part.
