Finding a patrol of cats willing to accompany the self-imposed social pariah had proved easier than she thought. Seafoambelly wasn't used to the responsibility of leading a border patrol, but it was nice to have the company. They stuck to the ThunderClan side of the river for now - though ThunderClan had claim over a patch of the meadow of wildflowers, this time of year saw the lustrous blooms died back and not worth much cover for prey. Besides, they weren't here to hunt, they were here to scent.
The Ranger stepped closer to the riverside, sniffing the air for anything strange. The crisp, cold water held nothing for her nose, which was a relief. There'd been relative peace with the other Clan, and knowing that the border lines were so far intact was a good sign. She jerked her head downriver, indicating for her Clanmates to move along the water's edge. She followed, casting her eyes to and fro, keeping an eye out for danger.
Her gaze was drawn to the Twolegplace on their side of the water - Loonstar had mentioned keeping watch for anything strange there, so they'd circle back to the fences when things were secure here. Only... she spotted a shape moving amongst the grass, galloping away from Twolegplace.
Was that... a -
"DOG!" she shouted, rousing alarm to the rest of her patrol.

Prompt for the Patrol: [ Your patrol glances along the RiverClan border when you notice a dog looming on the horizon by Twolegplace... it's loose? ]
Will our patrol run back to camp, potentially endangering the Clan if it gives chase? Hide amongst reeds and hope for the best? Cross the river and potentially the border into RiverClan? Face it head on?
