{$title} Feeling playful, Flowercloud tries to compete with Batwing in a friendly tree racing competition
Flowercloud remembered how seamless Batwing threw himself up the tree, running up it without a second thought to it, something she wouldn't have even thought of. Not while facing a hawk, with the inevitable loss of life with Hawkstar and the lack of focus except for trying to free Downykit from its grip.
She was used to climbing rock faces, climbing trees to hunt the birds that nestled within its branches, the squirrels that thought they would be free from them if they run up, she didn't have the practice of speed on her side like Batwing seemed to have seamlessly.
Her shoulder gently nudged her shoulder into Batwing, a look of challenge crossing her face as she gave a smirk. "I wanna practice, you made climbing that tree look so easy," she started, a playful tone in her honey laced words. "Would you care to race up one, see who can get to the top fastest? Maybe, winner can skip out on the next patrol, or something," she offered, giving a shrug. She liked working, she was working even through her shoulder being torn open from the hawk, despite Tigerfoots and Swallowpaws insistance on wanting her to rest once they reached the territory. There was just too much to do, though, and she found it hard to sit still as is.
"Unless… it was only adrenaline that kept you a long," she noted, as if suddenly disinterested, though the smirk on her face was just to egg him on and hopefully let him partake in friendly competition. It was all friendly banter, she was sure he would understand. The bulky female wanted to relax a bit, and this was something easy going and it still was work if you thought about it enough. It was training. And that was needed, even as a warrior- even deputy. Slacking off was never a good thing anyways.
