Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.
Typically, Ghostrike considered himself a level-headed cat. He didn't get riled easily and even in the instances where his temper got the better of him, it was usually a controlled burn.
But this crow was really starting to piss him off.
He was no longer trying to hunt. No, he'd tried that for nearly an hour, but hadn't even gotten close to tracking something down because the second he stopped moving to scent the air or drop into a crouch, that bloody fucking bird opened it's beak and started screaming to the high heavens. Every piece of prey between twolegplace and the thunderpath knew Ghoststrike was out there now,
He'd given up on finding some lunch nearly thirty minutes ago, resigning himself to instead march back to camp with a lashing tail and a glare that was doing it's damndest to bring meaning to words 'if looks could kill'.
No longer stalking. No longer hunting.
And that bird was still following him.
He could see it's dark figure moving with him from tree to tree. Waiting. Watching.
When he happened upon a patrol also on it's way back into camp, he couldn't help but grumble about it.
" Whichever one of you mousebrains has been out here hunting crows has made it a problem for the rest of us." he gruffed out, curling a lip in the birds direction. "Haven't managed a lick of prey with that one tailing me."
OOC- Ghost is being followed by a very angry, very noisy crow XD
thunderclan warrior- male - a towering dark tabby with a white mask and dark amber eyes.
Dreampaw . trans tom (he/him) . 9 moons . apprentice of ThunderClan . mentored by tba . short and small hazel-eyed tortie with mohawk-like head tuft TAGS! ₊˚✧ ゚. Dreampaw was padding alongside the patrol when Ghostrike approached. He wondered what the pale-masked warrior needed before Ghoststrike spelled it out with words not only oozing irritation but maybe even bottled up fury as well. Dream's hazel eyes gleamed with immediate curiosity (and no small degree of amusement) at the warrior's exasperation. A sinister little smile crept across the his maw as he tilted his head back and began to scan the branches overhead for the dark feathered fiend responsible for Ghostrike's torment.
"Ah Ghostrike,"the small tortie's voice dripped with mock sympathy and barely contained laughter, "it appears you've made quite the devoted friend today. Perhaps the crow recognizes a kindred spirit? Birds of dark feathers flock together and all that..." His own own hunting had gone well enough this morning. He'd caught a single mouse and, while it wasn't luck sent to him by Starclan themselves or even much to brag about, it was about all his skills and half-hearted focus could realistically manage for the duration of any hunting patrol. Ghoststrike's predicament was a welcome distraction.
Dreampaw paused to lift a paw and dramatically unsheathed his claws to point toward the crow's shape in the trees overhead. "Fear not, I could always silence your little admirer with my powers if you say 'please.' Though perhaps your new follower does seek revenge for his fallen brethren like you suggest," but Dreampaw couldn't remember if he'd seen any crows on the prey pile recently that would spark the unusual bird's vengeful ire, "Or perhaps it merely enjoys your charming personality." He hummed a teasing purr at his playful jab, preparing himself to dodge any cuffs to his ears that would come his way for the mild disrespect he always displayed to his superiors and peers alike.
