Pebbledream isn't overly fond of snow - having to trudge through it makes their paws so cold it feels like they're about to fall off. But alas, they must make the trek to Fourtrees with their patrol trailing behind them. Frostmoth has willed it so.
Fourtrees certainly looks different with a blanket of white splayed atop the clearing. There's so much of it that it's near-blinding, and Pebbledream squints as their eyes adjust to the void of white. As they scan the clearing, they expect to see hardly anything of interest - but instead they are met with the sight of a small group of cats.
Pebbledream's first thought is that they must be from another Clan, but upon closer inspection, this proves to not be the case. The cats are well-fed, their fur sleek and shiny, and as one of them rolls around in the snow, they catch a glimpse of a collar. Kittypets.
RiverClan has grown very familiar with kittypets throughout the last few moons, and Pebbledream is no exception. "I'm going to approach them," they announce, casting a quick glance at their patrol mates before padding out into the clearing.
"Hello," they call out, their voice holding a casual tone so as not to intimidate the soft-pawed cats. "Are you enjoying the weather? It's not often we see kittypets this far into the forest." There's no point in taking a hostile approach when they are in a neutral zone, not to mention they're hardly doing anything that could be considered a threat.
