Shiverflame is a bit of an oddity; despite taking from both parents' genetics, he doesn't particularly look like either of them. Born slightly smaller than average, he keeps a more wiry, sharp frame as a result of throwing himself into his training. While, in theory, he could be perfect for a stealth mission, the truth isn't quite so simple. Most of Shiverflame is black, with rosette tabby markings and patches of red bearing the same rosettes. A very vibrant red, at that, threatening to make him stand out. While high white covers up most of it, leaving speckles of black and red fur in its wake, that coloration isn't exactly subtle, either. His eyes, usually much more revealing of his emotions than he'd like them to be, are a pale shade of gold. For a Shadowclan warrior, expecting him to hide anything would be an impossible task.

If there's been anything Shiverflame has ever wanted, it's to be cooler in nature like their mother. And if there's anything they're doomed to never succeed at, it's the same. From the second they were born to the rest of their life, they'll never have the ability to brush things off. It's easy to get under their skin, and even easier to tell when something has. On top of being snappy, they tend to have a strike first, ask questions later mentality, tending to jump to action first without really thinking it through. Despite that, though, there's one thing that makes them falter. Despite what they may claim otherwise, Shiverflame is torn between truly following in their mother's footsteps or doing the exact opposite of what she would want. They tend to be stubborn and spiteful in other ways, when they can, but this may be the thing that ever truly gives them pause. In a way, however, they've already partially followed her, keeping their family and clanmates at arm's-length, believing that the lack of connection is somehow normal and refusing to think otherwise, even with proof. Should someone break past their barrier, though, they'd find someone who truly enjoys quality time. Not much speaking, though; both easily flustered and embarrassed because of it, it's easy for them to fumble their way through an interaction due to their own embarrassment alone.
