IVY & HEATHER, a RiverClan Litter

Ah, young love. Two strangers, pulled together by fate and one failed hunting attempt… Only, where love may have been able to bloom, instead their relationship is one of infidelity and moving too fast. Heather and Ivytwist met, started talking, and had a fling… only Ivytwist has a mate back in RiverClan that Heather doesn't know about. When the young loner comes to RiverClan, pregnant with Ivytwist's kits, her flame will not claim them or his relationship with her. Rather than return to a loner's life, Heather asks to stay in RiverClan and promises to pull her weight after the kits are born, even if their father won't be a part of it.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS Heatherfield will be present in their lives, but not likely exceedingly loving, as she is a young mother who didn't anticipate not having her mate by her side. These kits will be raised without the knowledge of who their father is. Any questions about their parentage will be deflected by her. Ivytwist will not claim the kits as his, but plots involving suspicion about his involvement are on the table! The number of slots will be determined by interest, though at least one kit will be played by Plot. This litter is NOT FCFS, and kits will be chosen by Poe and Plot. Required activity level is low - just staying on the census is enough, but dying early is also acceptable with enough heads up to poe & plot! Heather will join RiverClan towards the end of November, with her kits being born around the end of January! Deadline is November 30th. RELATIONS They do not have any currently active biological family on either parents' side. Their father, Ivytwist, is mates with Hydrangeabloom. Galepaw is friends with Heatherfield and will likely be around the kits often!

Optional Genetics Section Genetics are free for all! Heather is a cream cat with mid white spotting and blue eyes. Ivytwist is a black tabby with white spotting and teal eyes. HEATHERFIELD'S NAMES​ x Yes- Names that are "traditionally" RiverClan: stream, water, river, fish, bubble, heron, etc. Yes- Most names that are plants: willow, furze, algae, wheat, etc. Yes- Names that are physical descriptors: tiny, brown, gray, striped, etc. No- Names that remind her of Ivytwist: swirl, vine, tangle, etc. No- Names that remind her of ShadowClan: dark, shade, claw, marsh, mud, etc.

✧ A small sandybrown kit with soft white paws and a gray-striped tail that always seems to flick with restless energy. Her ears are shaded gray, and two dark spots surround her eyes, making her look perpetually wide-eyed and wondering. Her eyes themselves are a blend of green and blue, bright and full of awe, like she's seeing the world for the very first time every time.

✧This little kit is all wide eyes and tangled whiskers, full of wonder for the world she's just beginning to explore. She's a bit clumsy, often tripping over her own paws or bumping into things, but she never stays embarrassed for long, her laughter comes easily. Gullible in the sweetest way, she tends to believe whatever she's told, whether it's that the stars are glowing berries or that moss grows faster if you sing to it.

She's deeply attached to her siblings, following them like a shadow and always wanting to be part of whatever they're doing. Their approval means everything to her. She finds comfort in her mother's presence, never questioning the absence of her father, after all, she has everything she needs right there in her family. ✧ Born from the brief romance between Ivytwist of RiverClan and Heather, a gentle loner, her story begins with quiet complication. Heather joined RiverClan to raise her kits, unaware that Ivytwist already had a mate within the Clan. The little kit grows up never knowing her father, but her mother's love and her bond with her siblings, those fill that space in her heart.

As a kit, she doesn't question it much, her family feels whole just as it is. But when she becomes an apprentice and starts to notice the way others speak of her lineage, or how she shares faint resemblances with certain cats, that seed of curiosity begins to grow. She'll start to wonder who her father was, and why her mother never told her.

  • Misty is a curious kitten, who loves her family, but does not like to show it. She acts all tough and independant in front of others, but cuddles with her family in the night, refusing to be by herself.
  • However, if anyone calls her out on it, she will deny everything and might even lash out at them
  • Easily annoyed and made angry, though she usually doesn't lash out, just angrily stomps her tail and furrows her brow. When she does lash out, she is harsh and isn't afraid to use her claws.
  • Thinks she's the toughest out there
  • Smart, good at figuring things out, though doesn't always apply herself
  • Often lazy, doesn't feel like getting out of the nest, other times first to wake, not caring if she wakes up others with her stomping

  • Does not make friends often, mainly just tolerates everyone around her, but when she does make friends, she will be loyal to them against everything

  • Might get into an accident as a kit/apprentice where she hurts her jaw, dislodging it slightly and breaks one of her fangs - won't be indisposed for too long, week or two max
  • Possibly befriends a small elderly dog, though won't tell her clan and will act like she's chasing him away if anyone spots her (possibly adjusted so she does this with someone else and not by herself)
  • Gets into trouble for not following the rules and doesn't really care all that much
  • Does not care about who her father is, but if she suspects Ivytwist is her father, she might try to interact with him to spite her mother
