APRIL 2025

Goodbye March, we won't miss you! Though less month was rough on everyone we are optimistic for April! With WindClan finally being established all five of our core clans are officially in existence and we can move forward with the site's story from its origins onto new developments!
Congrats to Stormybuckets and Yeoman as WindClan's first Leader and Medicine Cat!

The clan news and weather has been UPDATED!

We welcomed two new CAs this past month in @muddly and @carat ! Already established and helpful members who have offered their help as a lorekeeper and geneticist respectively! Muddly assisted Eden in finishing the development of our WindClan Guide when Tall Grass Prairie won our territory poll! There's sure a lot of birds on that.

This month we also said goodbye to a Community Assistant in @deidre ,who has been a helpful and enjoyed presence on the team from the beginning, as of right now there are no plans to hire new staff but we will update the community when that occurs!

Updates relating to our site rules and guides:

• The General Site Rules has receive an update regarding our stance on tracing, as an artistic base community we take artists an their rights very seriously! Please make sure you are aware of all this change entails. Specifically the below, adding further emphasis on our stance on respecting artists and how we do not permit tracing.

Any Art and writing shared on our Site/Discord must be of your own creation or work you have commissioned with a credit/source to the original artist!
The use of F2U (or paid if you have done so) bases is acceptable and encouraged in our community, make sure you are crediting the base creator when sharing them!
Referencing is fine, make sure to source your inspiration if the reference is fairly direct.
Tracing is not allowed under any circumstances. Tracing to learn and for personal studies is a perfectly acceptable way to improve your art but it should not be shared and you should not attempt to pass another's work as your own through lying or lying by omission.
(The exception to this rule is obvious meme/joke trace overs for open source content and large IPs such as using the Neko Atsume cats to make your own or drawing your cat in the dead!Yamcha pose etc...)
Photo manipulating photographs must also be clearly called as such, please credit the original photographer and don't use assets that aren't F2U unless you purchased the rights.
