Swarmswirl pulls herself from her warm nest, her tail briefly ghosting her son's sleeping frame. She just needs to stretch her legs, and it'll only take her a few moments, and yet... she feels so guilty for slipping away from her child for even that. Starlitpath is busy with patrolling, now taking on twice the work to make up for Swarmswirl's lack of ability. She could leave Moonlitkit with another caretaker, sure, but in doing so she'd have to admit that she doesn't like leaving him alone for even a few moments. She frets, then, being called a hover-parent. He'll grow up spoiled rotten, she imagines them saying.
How did her sister manage through these worries? These thoughts of inadequacy?

The tortoiseshell straightens her back and dips her head in greeting to the other. "You've been keeping busy?" She asks Chrysalisgaze, her tail now sweeping around her torso.
