Serpentberry does not bother to think if she is a good mother or not - she is better than nothing, and sure, her kittens may be rowdy and rambunctious, but that doesn't mean they aren't fed, loved, and housed by her. The molly doesn't even have an inkling of the piss poor thought as she hoists them to the paws of another and leaves, striding out of the camp without a glance backwards. In fact, she's so great at this mothering thing, that she needs a damn break from it. And no one will tell her she can't do that. Well - maybe Magnoliapeak, but she won't listen to a thing that poison tongued warrior has to say.

She wanders the woodlands without a care, her tail flicking against overturned snow to peer at whatever plantlife may hide there. Leafbare is notorious for having next to nothing to scrounge from - but what she can find is usually hardy and useful. Her paws clip the edge of the thunderpath before she knows it, her eyebrows knitting together. Had she already wandered that far? She must've been lost in thought, thinking about her kits despite wanting time away from them, thinking about the Clan, and Thornstar, and Juniperstar...

A flash of too-many-colors jostles the undergrowth on the other side. Serpentberry remains steady on her paws as she looks on. She calls out, "Hello?" at the earliest convenience, not too eager to be taken by surprise.

Cherryblaze padded out of the nursery leaving her three sleeping kits with Timberfrost. She had promised them not to be gone for too long, as she really needed to stretch her legs and get some fresh air. Twitching her ears at all the business that flickered around the camp she padded towards the entrance to slip out for a quick hunt.

Feeling the fresh breeze hit their face, Cherryblaze purred. They hadn't experienced this feeling in what felt like moons now. They bursted out into a sprint, dashing through the swampy undergrowth. What started as a small hunt near the camp shortly became them being much farther away from camp than anticipated.

Sniffing, she smelled the harsh acidic tang of the thunderpath, scrunching up her nose with disgust. Wondering if she would ever get used to this smell she paused as she heard a voice say, "Hello?". Stiffening as they tried not to let they're pelt prick, they responded, "Hello? Who's there?". While looking around cautiously.
