APPEARANCE A red tabby of slightly above-average height, with an easy smile but a wolfish grin, there is an inherent wildness to Brightpetal's appearance that makes him look far more feral than he actually is. The fur upon his neck spikes in various directions like a gothic collar and the fur upon his tail struggles to figure out which direction it is supposed to be flowing. Bright is a marbled tabby, with fur as bright as a flame and splashes of white upon his face and belly appearing cream in the natural shade of ThunderClan's territory. Similarly, his eyes are bright yellow, with rounded pupils that give an impression of friendliness. Despite being a warrior, Bright does not carry muscle easily and, in months of plentiful food, tends to appear stout rather than strong.

Since the battle, Bright has carried a scar upon his belly that he calls his 'lucky star' due to its crisscross pattern.

PERSONALITY Brightpetal is as life-loving and carefree as his name suggests, often doing his best to find the positives in most situations. When speaking casually to others, he has a cheeky but respectful air, often seeking to tease without crossing any boundaries that the other cat may have. However, this free-spirited attitude has also led to him being flirtatious without intent of anything serious, often not understanding the ramifications of it.

Though often appearing carefree and unserious, Brightpetal does engage diligently with his duties, both as a Warrior and a witness to the afterlife post-battle. Previously struggling with a sense of directionless, he now dedicates himself completely to understanding StarClan and learning more about both his place in the world and ThunderClan's. He is encouraging, though not overbearing, of others to find similar interest in the stars, often promoting it by living his best life and taking care of those around him.

However, being an optimist in a challenging world is a challenge and, instead of standing up for himself or making his opinion known in conflicts, Bright tends to remain quiet and let things work themselves out. He also struggles to see the bigger picture at times, believing in the inherent good and always doing 'good' rather than committing pragmatic acts. His high-energy behaviour can also make him clumsy, both in speech and physically - he is the type of cat to trip over his own tail.

Brightpetal is a night owl and appears at his most liveliest under a canopy of stars.
