Welcome to the character check-in, where we'll confirm your kitty is fit for this universe at a glance! All you need to do is review the below information and then make a SEPARATE THREAD with:

Here is a basic form if you would prefer to use one of those for submitting a check-in:
You DO NOT need to submit loners/kittypets/rogues or barn cats to the prefix list unless they are destined to join a clan and you are reserving their name for it! This list is only to keep track of clan cat prefixes, any other cat can have whatever name they like and we do not track them!

Prefixes are the first part of a character's name in the Warrior Cat Universe!
We allow a very broad range of Prefix options and as such we have set a two prefix limit per name to encourage people to be more creative and to avoid confusion with cats all sharing the same prefix (having five Wolfpaw's would get a little crazy when talking about plotting!)
The CURRENT Leader, Deputy and Medicine Cat get their prefixes blacklisted from use. In addition to allowing them to remain unique for history upkeep purposes, it would also not make sense in-character to name a cat after another clan's leader etc, etc…
For a prefix to go back up for claim the character must have been inactive for three months, written out/dropped, died, or their owner has left the site!
If a prefix is already in use the second claim for it MUST be in a different clan.
You can have a Wolfpaw in ThunderClan and ShadowClan but you can not have two Wolfpaw in WindClan. This is also to help avoid confusion!
We allow people to 'claim' a prefix temporarily while they plan out a character or apply to a litter, the claim lasts for a max of one month and you may extend it by another month one time for a total of 2 months!
To update the list, temporarily hold a prefix or make a correction, just reply here with your notes and requests!
- Your character's prefix.
- For cats not starting in a clan include their FUTURE clan prefix and not just their pre-clan name. This is what you'll claim.
- Suffix is optional if you're still thinking!
- Kits being named in-character can skip the name, however it's up to you to claim it properly later and it must not be unavailable.
- Reference for their description.
- THIS IS REQUIRED.
- If you have no visual you can opt instead to include a detailed summary or even hexcode colors/a palette to get your point across!
- Please avoid using Discord images, as those break after 24 hours, leaving us unable to check your character's design!
- Your Clan.
- Or nonclan affiliation.
- Your Rank.
- Viable for clan cats only or nonclanners with plans to join a clan later.

Once you have been
APPROVED
then make sure to post below to put your prefix on the CLAIMED PREFIX LIST if we haven't already! Then head to THE GROUP ASSIGNMENT section of the shop to claim your group role!
