GRAVELTHROAT shadowclan & trapper

lacks defined values. She is aimless, cold-eyed and hardened. Gravelthroat carries herself like someone who's learned every lesson the hard way. She doesn't speak much, but when she does, she is blunt and guarded. There's humor buried somewhere in there, but it rarely comes out unless she feels comfortable with who she's talking to. While lacking conviction or morals, she does show up when it matters and commits to her responsibilities.
She does not delight in violence, nor shy away from it. Gravelthroat is burdened by loss and, for the time being, can only offer hard truths and steady claws. But who knows, maybe there's a different Gravelthroat buried underneath.

Early Life
→ Her mother, Cinder, raised them in isolation—a crumbling shed on a stretch of farmland. She told them about their father in enough detail to paint a picture, but not much else.
→ They started as neighbors to the barncats and eventually moved in, though they only maintained a surface relationship, preferring to keep to themselves.
→ Mother was bitter about having to raise them and treated her kits poorly, driving many of her other siblings to leave.
→ Gravel has mixed feelings about her mother but still grieves the loss in her own way. Since her death, she's become quieter and more withdrawn than ever before.
→ When the barnfire happened, they struggled to escape but eventually did, fleeing the area rather than joining the other survivors.
→ Thaw was badly burned and succumbed to her wounds not long after. Gravel remained to take care of her mother until her final moments.
→ Before she died, Thaw told Gravel about her father Charcoal, and where she might find him.
