It was a slight cold evening, but accompanied by a humidity breeze that tranquipified the air. Along followed the gentle chirping sounds of little crickets that sung their trilling song through the night, while also followed by the sound of frogs echoing at each other with croaks, making their presence known.


The She-Cats ear swivels as it captures the many songs being sung in the night.

Despite not being a fan of the hot weather's embrace that blanketed its heat for awhile, the cold arriving afterwards as the sun goes to sleep felt endearing being greeted by its gentle breeze against her fur.


Silentstep stood by the pool of water, watching the fireflies dance together above the reflection of the moon and its stars in the spring...Almost looking like if the stars themselves had came down and began to dance too. She watched, captivated in awe of the scene. Before flickering her eyes down at her paws, lifting one up and gently dipping it into the water... it made tiny ripples, but not enough to alert the bugs rhythm, and carefully rotates her paw that floated underneath a bright silhouette of a star reflecting in the water... Making it look like she was holding it.

After a minute or two, she retracts her paw and began to lick the falling droplets off of it. Before going back and curling her tail around her paws to continue watching the show, performed by the fireflies.

Day-heat was something that bugged Goldenroar constantly. He wore such a thick pelt that it caused him to take breaks throughout the day, to find rain more entertaining to exist in then direct sunlight. But, much like the more nocturnal of those in Windclan, he found the twilight, the dusk, the night to be more comfortable. When his paws find him by the pool, Silentstep is already occupying the area near it, her eyes sparkling with... with what? Goldenroar looks on for a long moment, trying to find the right words.

It doesn't come to him before he speaks. "Nice night, isn't it?" Goldenroar says, taking a few steps closer. It's a comfortable silence that he's found himself in alongside Silentstep. It isn't silent, per say. The frogs near the pong are singing, the soft hum of nearby fireflies constant in his ears. There's gentle hoots in the far, far distance, likely an owl waking for the night. It's almost like a blanket. Were he still not so awake, he'd likely curl up and sleep here. The sky above them was more comforting then ever- even if he finds himself missing the roof of the barn, this might just be better.

Silentstep's eyes are sparkling with wonder, he realizes. That is the word he was missing. "May I?" He asks permission before sitting nearby, settling so his toes were just barely touching the water. And, with that, he takes a soft breath and lets his eyes drift closed, simply relaxing near his clanmate.
