{$title} takes place after the journey, as SkyClan establishes their new territory

QUAILSTEP
Tired paws tread upon soft ground, the whisper of forest leaves falling behind as she crosses into the plains beyond their new camp. This was their new home - and while she wasn't exactly disobeying their leader, Quailstep still had the thought that she shouldn't be padding around this unfamiliar land on her own.
Nevertheless, she was here, just past the pines, gazing out upon a land of potential. Danger could lurk wherever she glanced, but hope bloomed too like the first flowers of a newleaf season. She let herself sink into the soft grass, rolling around in its wild scent. This was a land unclaimed, and she knew they had opportunity here for new life.
Here, she could grow as a full warrior of their Clan, no longer the ragged and weary traveller she had been before. Here, perhaps, her confidence and ability might grow - she would learn to stalk these grasses and scale the pines as their ancestors may have all those ages ago. Love? Friendship? All could bloom here in this new place, restored by their adherence to their code and way of life.
She stood, the breeze kicking up, and raced alongside the wind, leaping into the air as if in flight. SkyClan would belong here.
And so would she.
