Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.
Frostmoth is already more than aware that this patrol might not go well for him. It isn't that he thinks a SkyClan patrol might cross the border to attack RiverClan cats- he's fairly certain Hawkstar wouldn't be very happy about that- but rather that they seem quite satisfied keeping to themselves. For several evenings he'd been kept up, tossing and turning, worried about what he might say to a SkyClan councilman or their leader that might ruin their entire goal. Of course, until he saw the window of opportunity open a few sunrises ago.
SkyClan's cats have proven themselves to be reasonable and kind. When their medicine cat apprentice had come to their border to plead for help from Jinglemoon, they had all been polite- albeit a bit impersonal for diplomatic reasons, a feeling with which Frostmoth finds comfort versus being overly-friendly- and reasonable in their boundaries and requests. Something that he thinks RiverClan could learn a thing or two about. SkyClan had been presented to him as some hostile, insurmountable enemy. As if they were hankering to start violence. Frostmoth understands now that they have something that his own clan lacks: a sense of responsibility and order.
Frostmoth stops a few paces from the shared border. He gestures quietly for Dogflicker, Smokewreath, and Thunderpaw to stop behind him. His tail swishes thoughtfully for a moment, and he scents the breeze. "We shouldn't have to wait long," he comments "Remember to be polite. We want to pay SkyClan with they same respect they have given us." Not that any of his patrol needs it. Smokewreath and Dogflicker are reliable warriors to boot, and Thunderpaw is good natured despite her high energy and enthusiasm.
