HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2025

my anniversary is the day before christmas eve so i had a very eventful few days... going out to dinner, exchanging gifts with many loved ones of many kinds. we got some presents for a friend's kiddo that im excited for him to open tonight ! he's a minecraft fan so we got him a whole themed bedset for his room
 
every year, i used to give my dad one of those lego sets. yknow, the one that was a model head, typically of a star wars helmet or something like that.
obviously he isn't with us anymore, so i did the smart thing and gave it to my mother. a tradition i think she's very happy to carry on, even if it's bittersweet.

I mostly got money, but my favorite thing I got as an actual physical gift was the into the wild special edition. Plus, I got enough money to at least mostly cover getting a switch 2!
 
I think my favorite gift this year was a "gift certificate" my wife made for money towards getting my first isopods which I've wanted to do for a couple years now!!!!!! it was such a sweet gesture since she isn't too keen on bugs as pets lmaoooo

favorite gift I gave is probably the painting of our cat I commissioned my friend to do. my wife was SOOOOO excited to see it heehee :'3

also every year wife and I do "thanksgiving food" for dinner bc we love turkey and stuffing lmao so we did that and it was delicious

pheos family got me a camera n I got to spend christmas w my brother. :)). -hawk

Ehhehe hawk beat me to it but I got my bestie his first camera and me and my sister were able to get our mom some of her favourite dart players merch and she was super stoked :3 we got a new art tablet and the new Pokémon game that tikki, monte and Austin have gotten to listen to me live tweet about but tbh I got these fuck ass moon boot slippers that you can microwave like a heatie and I've fallen in love with these thangs. I have aged that slippers are my notable gift but I am swagged up with my fuck ass slippers /silly
Also just in general had a nice Christmas with my family and got to yap with my friends!! Grateful this year to have gotten to reconnect with so many friends and meet even more new ones and to spend a holiday with so much love would have been more than enough for me :)) happy holidays purrgatory ilu all MWAH -pheo
 
I unexpectedly got a switch 2 which was nice. Wasnt planning on getting it until later this year or something idk. first time in a long time ive opened a present and didnt actually know what it was ahead of time so thats fun.
 
ive been saying this nonstop since it happened but this christmas my son would not stop running up to me at random points in the day to just say "i love you mama" over and over again. it did not matter wtf he was doing, he had an hourly-minutely-secondly duty to ensure i knew he loved me. and that's the best gift ive ever gotten

I made cinnamon rolls for the first time during Christmas Day and they turned out pretty good I think! my mom enjoyed them a lot :3
