There are too many faces here, too many voices chattering about in ways they cannot even hope to keep up with. The child has only just begun to accept that they are staying here, and it has been nigh impossible to steal a moment to themself. They need quiet, they need solitude, they need to be able to breathe.
Limbs bunched into a crouch, the child lingers somewhere towards the edge of camp. An intense stare wards away any who might try to question them, wide eyes burning with the fire of two little suns. They need peace, so that they can sort out their scrambled mess of thoughts. They need quiet. And... Perhaps it does not have to be so lonesome a quiet. As the kit sits on their own, another set of paws comes to join them.
