{$title} general tw; building a bone pile and some of the creepy things that come with it

White paws worked steadily, organizing the messy piles of meticulously cleaned bones into a single structure. Carefully stacked, one on top of the other like bricks in a wall. The cat worked the later half of a day on its bone structure until the messy piles ran dry. The structure was made with the same attention to detail that the bones had been cleaned with - they were near perfectly stacked, with none looking out of place. The warmer tones of the setting sun tinted the bones gold and bronze, then redder and redder.
The cat remained by her structure as the sun set, then watched the moon rise over it with an expressionless face, and a hint of some vague emotion in her eyes. She stood up slowly, looking at the bone pile and nodding in approval. A faint scent drifted through the air, the scent of other cats - and it seemed to be slowly creeping closer. Ah, other cats live here. These ones are awake at night it seems.
No trouble. Before the scent got any stronger, the cat turned and disappeared away from the scent markers, launching itself up into a tree once it was far enough away to be safe. I'll avoid this area, then... Don't want a fight over territory.
