✪ Align my Heart, my Body, my Mind​

indentThe moonstone is cold as Dustystar touches her nose to it. Her instinct is to jerk away, but she keeps her nose firmly pressed against the cool surface. Despite her patience and perseverance, nothing happens. She sees no blinding light, nor any otherworldly song. She certainly doesn't hear any more of Windrose. With a sigh, she withdraws from the stone, turning to tell Sweet and Goldy that it was a fluke, and she really had gone mad. Instead of seeing the cave interior, though, she opens her eye to the same dark expanse as before. Once again, pinpricks of light come into view the longer she looks, watching the darkness fade. Now, though, some of the stars seem to grow. As she squints into the darkness, she sees that they aren't stars at all. It's a group of ghostly cats, moving towards her.

indent"You're here? Then, I 'aint crazy..." Dustystar speaks, breathless and astonished, as the cat at the front of the group approaches her.

They had been waiting. It was only a matter of time for Windclan's legacy to be fulfilled. He had been watching, but he knew better to get involved with deciding who will become Windclan's leader. After all, he was Riverclan's leader and even if half of his blood came from the moor runners from long ago... He could never be as invested or as protective of Windclan compared to Riverclan, where he had been born and raised. And yet... He felt a sense of duty. He had made Seabriar do his dirty work when it came to Pikestar, so it was now his turn to do something. And what better way then to offer a life?

Eventually, the group finds her. The blue tabby takes a step forward from the rest who have decided to offer themselves. Her reaction causes him to chuff. If Seabriar were here instead I think he'd complain again about cats thinking they've gone crazy. Pikestar really did a number on him. "You're not the only one who thought you were crazy." His smile is fond as he remembers Seabriar recounting Pikestar's mannerisms. Dusty is nothing like the silver leader, yet there amusement in the fact that both leaders stated the same thing. It's then that he is met with her puzzled expression, to which he waves his paw as if shooing away a mouse. "Don't worry, in time you will meet him."

If she wanted to ask who he was even talking about, unfortunately he wouldn't give her the chance. "In any case, my name is Creekstar. I was once Riverclan's leader long ago. I may not hail from Windclan, but I carry their blood through my... father." As If I can call him that. I didn't know the tom, but if it wasn't for him... then I wouldn't be here. I shouldn't trouble this new leader with my past drama. There's no need to mention that my mother was killed by a windclanner either. Yet again, he proceeds without allowing her the chance to question him if she even desired to. After all, he was merely a stranger in her eyes. Only meant to take a life from.

"The life I will give you is forgiveness. Not only for others, but for yourself." There is no warning given when he presses his nose against her own. "It is far too easy to become bitter. Full of hate, of spite, and vengeance. Towards the world for what struggles it hurls at you, towards those you must lead, and in the future towards the other clans. I do not mean you should quickly cast aside your feelings, after all we are not unfeeling. There will be terrible days where you desire nothing more than to hiss at anyone who dares look at you the wrong way. That is natural. Remember, you are the leader of your own fate. I will hope you will forgive for your own sake and for theirs as well."

He remains where he is for a moment, blue eyes reflecting a glimmer of sorrow. It is with a sigh, that the former Riverclan leader draws away. "Please live a life where you will have no regrets."

Blue paws turn and take their place among the others. I hope you will forgive me, mother. Giving a life to a clan that killed you. But... I am half Windclan. Riverclan's legacy has been fulfilled already. I could not serve Windclan in life, but in death, I can do this one thing for them. It is my duty. This will be my first and last time serving Windclan. I promise you.

A new Clan arises, and this one she needed little convincing for the land of stars before they all agreed. Dusty had plenty of potential and life to breathe into a new world. She had ferocity, stubbornness and all the makings of what could blaze the path of WindClan's success in rebirth from ancient echoes. Coffeestar watched with a gentleness to her starry gaze as Creekstar and Wind stepped forward, lending their wisdom and offering their blessings.

It came for her turn next, then. The chocolate painted molly stepped with confidence while she took a deep breath, regarding Dusty with a slow nod. An acknowledgement, acceptance as they were equals. "In legends, WindClan was once regarded as the most holy of all five." Once, before twolegs stripped the plains and gutted the forest with reckless abandon. "I never got to meet a WindClanner in my life in SkyClan, but it is an honor that you will be the first." Coffeestar bowed her head in respect to the other molly before leaning forward with a upward whip of her tail, the features across her face alight with sparkling enthusiasm.

"My name is Coffeestar of SkyClan, trailblazer of the stars- and you, my friend, will fit right in as WindClan's leader. For with this life, I grant you humor!" A nose pressed to another, Dusty would feel all the air disappear from her lungs as a warm sensation began to grow from them instead. Hot like coals in her throat, heat rushing as if it were pushing each inhale and exhale until the late leader finally stepped away. "You are leading kin and kind behind you, they will follow you through beasts and burdens- use this life to save them from falling into despair. A Clan is not made just to survive, it is to live."

Content, Coffeestar gave one last small bow before returning to the mirage of starry figures.
