WE SLEEP SAFELY AT NIGHT BECAUSE ROUGH MEN
STAND READY TO VISIT VIOLENCE ON THOSE WHO WOULD HARM US
There was a part of Ghost that was glad he hadn't had to kill Moth– there was rarely ever joy to take in killing a cat, and he certainly wouldn't have found any level of satisfaction against one that was neither a trained fighter nor someone he felt any personal ire against. Moth was just a cat. One Ghost had no particular feelings toward at the moment outside of a vague frustration over having been stopped by him in the first place. The striped brute didn't belong to this colony and he didn't intend to fight their wars for them. Had said as much to Thunder only a few minutes prior when he'd left the other on the edge of the fight, intending to disappear into the treeline never to be seen again.
That plan had not changed.
Moth had wisened up and taken off, leaving Ghost mostly unscathed. Behind him he could hear the battle playing out, catches yowling and screeching as they tore into one another, the scent of blood and fear heavy in the air around him. Despite his usually solid discipline, dark eyes found themselves glancing back to where he'd left blue eyes and chocolate fur to find the spot empty.
He probably jumped right in the second I turned my back.. The thought, which was meant to be one more thing to disapprove of, felt oddly hollow.
Not my fight. He reminded himself as he turned back toward the treeline, determined to leave.
OOC- She would have just seen him and Moth finishing their scuffle, with Moth getting out of there before Ghost could do any serious damage. They're right on the edge of the fighting, closest to the treeline :)
