It is not often that Pebbledream approaches the nursery. That is not to say that they avoid RiverClan's youth - no, they are keen on giving the kittens words of gentle encouragement or showing them how to improve their hunter's crouch. Engaging with the kittens is vital to the growth and nurture of what will become the next generation of RiverClan warriors. The reason that Pebbledream has decided to peek their head through the entrance now, blue eyes scanning the nests within, is because they are looking for Quartzkit.

The little scrap of fur has grown on Pebbledream quickly, and they've noticed how she's grown attached to them as well. When she'd huddled close to them during the conflict in camp not too long ago, the instinct to protect her from harm had been strong, and it has not wavered since. They think of when they were as small as her, a helpless kitten that had stumbled into the paws of what would become their pops. Pebbledream knows nothing of parenthood, but they recognize the need for a parental figure all too well.
