She felt... Better. Since her forced rest. But, she didn't feel great. Flowercloud found herself with others watching, more careful around her. Perhaps they felt like they were walking on eggshells. Or that they were waiting for her to pass out again or feel the pressure. But she didn't show it. This time, she fought even harder to pretend everything was fine. Even forcing smiles and friendliness.
But it was undeniable.
The looks, the feelings. The way her stomach sank sometimes when she'd look up and see eyes she felt against her fur quickly looking away. She still didn't feel like she was in her own paws. But nonetheless, she was trying. She may be in some strange phase of denial, but she knew exactly what happened. She knew the feelings she felt were real. She knew the way he looked, the way he talked at the end- it was burned into her memory, raw, painful, hurting.
Flowercloud pushed herself to the front of Hawkstars ledge, carefully sitting with her fluffy tail over her paws. Green eyes watched the camp- apprentices chattering and laughing with their friends, warriors stretching and talking to their apprentice. She would be giving patrols again, and it felt strange, almost disorienting to stand her again. To be in this position again.
"Skyclan, to me." She called. Similar fashion to Hawkstar, to Stormcrow. Her head lifted, gaze flickering as those approached. And she'd take a breath, eyes closing for a moment before speaking. "We're doing things a bit different. But bare with me. @Fujimoto , @Downypaw , @batwing , and @Teaselfeather . You four will be pushing towards Shadowclan border, check the borders, make sure no one's crossing them, and they're well aware we are watching." Her voice projected, confident, something that hadn't been loud in a while. It wasn't sweet, but short and to the point.
"@doe ." Her gaze found the other, and when she did- "This will be your first patrol. You will be joining me and @Rainchime to start pitching in your weight. I will start to teach you our customs and get you used to what it's like to be a warrior." A real warrior, unlike the posers on the other side of the forest.
"@Mousefang . You will take @Swirlpaw , @Daisydream , and creampaw to check the loner border. And @DUSKPOOL , you will take @sweetpaw , and others of your choosing to lead a hunting patrol." Her body shifts, there's a facial distortion, before quickly fading at the mention of her brother, but she quickly puts the remains of her facade on, offering a smile to the cats before her, before taking a breath.
"please be on your best behavior. I do not want to see anymore bloodshed. I will also give a reminder we do not cross the border under any circumstances. Remind your apprentices of the code, but, if they fail to listen, I'm sure snowveil needs help, or the elders would love to be checked for ticks." She makes her tone stern, as a warning for anyone. She wasn't indifferent to send a warrior that way if word got out of them acting out either.
"@SWALLOWBREEZE, please also pick your patrol to get some herbs. I'd hate to see you out of anything important."
And with that, she would quiet for duskpool or Swallowbreeze to speak- or even Hawkstar.

We'll be pressing onto thunderclans and shadowclans borders to make sure nobody is crossing them, and even find out some cats may want to learn this wonderful code we respect and follow.

Anyways! Hawkstar will lead special patrols onto windclan and riverclan with her, so keep an eye out for her patrol threads if you're chosen! These patrols will both be led with Hawkstar and will not be announced icly.
