Good March, Purrgy nation! With this month we move into spring and the site header has been altered to reflect the new weather! May your hunts go well and your kitty tootsies begin to warm with the arrival of New Leaf! Last month we said farewell to one of our CA's, her majesty @nya who decided to step down just to focus on having fun roleplaying so we're very glad to still have her around even if its not on the team!
Our COMMUNITY ASSISTANT APPLICATIONS are open still for another several days if you are interested!
Last month we introduced COMMUNITY HELPER ROLES, a way for the community to assist us in further developing our site and the plots, art and writing in it without the duties of a moderator on top of it! Both staff and member alike are able to sign-up for these roles HERE and we will add to them as needed! Our community is full of so many creative individuals who want to help and we thank ya'll for the interest in doing so!

We've condensed a large majority of our guides into a neat guidebook page called GETTING STARTED to further assist in organizing and making our website easier to navigate. This mass guide has received several updates since being revamped that include:
- An additional Check-in Guide & Tutorial to further help explain the process!
- An update to our General Site Rules involving the usage of disallowed words we were unaware may be considered slurs in both our culture and others!
In addition to that we've updated and added a few other things to the site this month, here's a condensed list of those!
- The Medicine Cat Guide & Herb List has been broken down into sections per clan to further help the medicine cats with finding herbs and organizing!
- Our site spreadsheets The Mega Roster & Pre-Approved Prefix & Suffix lists have been moved to their own pages in INFO HUB!
- Info Hub now also has a liveview of our Bluesky page!
- Purrgatory now has an Official Random Name Generator! Using names we've already approved!
- A special thank you to @Scarlet for making a Herb Scavenger Roller to help make gathering herbs for your clans medicine cat more dynamic and interesting!
- An update to our CODING GUIDE made by our lovely Site Coders (Noia & Karmen) with help from @tikki !
- The Clan Histories are finally up with their first update of the current leaders!
We introduced four new items to the shop: Unnatural Eye Color, Stealth, Scent Masking & Healing Improvement! These items (other than the eyes) are still StarClan aligned, the Dark Forest specific powers are in the works and will be out soon!
On the Discord we've updated our Privacy Policy regarding sharing images/selfies, you can see that in the spoiler directly below this.
Below are our guidelines regarding personal information in the server for the comfort and safety of our members which includes:
Images of real people (you, friends, etc) must be spoilered!
Imagery that includes people that are not you, like friends or family, should not be shared without consent or include material that could be exploitative (i.g, in front of your university's entrance, an easily identifiable street, friends or minors who may not want to be shared on social media not having their face censored, etc).
We are body positive, but "body" is a common struggle for many people! As such, we ask that any photos or discussions of body image, outfit shares, gym wins, etc., also be tagged and spoilered appropriately. This still includes our no-nudity rule.
We strive to have a safe community and do our best to screen new incoming members to protect our little corner of the internet. However, with these updated guidelines, especially as it concerns potential personal identifiable information, we also want to remind you all that we are still part of an internet-hosted service (Discord) that is prone to phishing scams, hacks, and other concerns. As the old adage goes - what's on the internet stays forever. If you would not feel comfortable sharing photos or information outside of Purrgatory, keep it personal!

Added the prefix tags 'event' and 'prompts' to make finding these clan specific prompt/events easier on your board! And for your poor leader lol!
The Advanced BBCODE plugin finally updated to make its default FA icons useable! I left the ones I made in the system to avoid breaking posts, you can still keep using them but we got a few variety now with these!
Duotone ones and brand specific! See them below!
I've added a drop-down for these options on the code editor for easier access!

Style settings plugin updated, a few things I mentioned to the plugin maker were fixed!
The animated gif custom title option now displays properly on messages (it was invisible before).
There is now a strikethrough text option for username and custom title!
A few of the issues with the profile customization are fixed so you can now change the colors/text tooltip displays and other fun things on your site profile!
Added a form to Check-Ins for dropping characters.
Fixed issue with Fontawesome icon dropping down so they can be placed after usernames now.

Black/White are allowed to be color options for existing character adjustments due to having no comparison colors.

This does not allow the creation of 'rainbow' eyes. Eyes must still, at max, have only two colors. This includes sectoral and dichroic eyes. This item must be purchased if either eye or a portion of the eye has any of the colors listed above. You do not need to purchase this item twice for two different illegal colors - it covers the entire set of eyes.

There is now a Sunningrocks Prefix for threads, actually-that's a lie, there's TWO! One is for when it is owned by ThunderClan and the other when it is owned by RiverClan: currently it is listed under ThunderClan, make sure to reference the guides and clan news for who owns it when using these tags.
