She licked the water from her paws, sighing. Was this what her life was going to be? Waiting for her father to yell at her? Waiting for him to choose her future and her mate while she sat idly and let him do as he pleased? Her shoulders slumped. She wished it was not the case, but she wasn't sure how to stop it.

    the smallest of a litter of primarily toms, guppysplash was always coddled through her life as the runt of her litter and forced into a mould that she believes she does not fit into. her fur is short, sleek from swimming around the watered territory of riverclan and she has a small touch of vanity to her presence, wanting to keep her appearance lively and beautiful. she adores and revers beauty, wishing that her parents were not as insistent on her being a weaver, knowing her swimming skills could be used for pearl diving instead. her pelt is primarily black, with splotches of amber and orange. her paws, face, and stomach have a high volume of white and her eyes are a soft yellow-green. she has a small scar on her lip from a diving incident as an apprentice.

  • guppysplash is a gentle and selfless molly... to a fault. her entire being, mannerisms, attitudes, and appearance are soft, almost kitten-like to onlookers. while she has talent, she often felt like her family coddled her due to her size and her somewhat "ditzy" way of exploring the world. she almost seems to wander aimlessly, having trouble listening and having a bit of a scatterbrain even at the best of times. Despite this, guppysplash is almost the epitome of kindness, never saying a bad word about other cats and finding it quite easy to make friends.

    despite being a bit coddled by her mostly male family, guppysplash has faced a few difficulties in her life and has learned to be resilient and forgiving against most hardships that come her way. however, one of her biggest weaknesses is her kindness --- as she's a bit too trusting, especially of outsiders. she believes almost anyone on their word, and this has lead to some difficult. but this poor girl is much too forgiving when someone slights her. she still hasn't learned that sometimes the world can be cruel and unforgiving. she's sickeningly optimistic at the best of times, though, she does have plenty of insecurities hiding below the surface and often avoids discussing her true feelings about most events. she prefers remaining passive, as others have judged her for her optimism and forgiving nature in the past.

    she is beginning to grow a bit resentful of how passive she was raised to be and is starting to hate the role she was pushed into. she craves an escape, craves romance and excitement... but her family simply wants her to keep on weaving until her pawpads are brittle and old.

    Her parents were arranged, loveless, a business transaction for Minnowbite's family. Lilyheart was too polite to protest, trained not to scream --- even if every ounce of her being was telling her to run. She was young, having just passed her apprenticeship... he was a few moons older. She was a weaver, something the men in his family seemed to be in a fever over, even if he was a warrior. Nonetheless, they were mates now, and Lilyheart's parents seemed pleased... why shouldn't she be?

    When she was 16 moons, she had her first litter. Three kits, two were large, broad-shouldered toms. Minnowbite joked that they were real men's men, excited to see how they blossomed into warriors. The third, small, delicate, fur patterned with all sorts of splotches of colour. A molly, the spitting image of her mother. Minnowbite takes one look at her, scoffing and saying that she is a mere guppy in the ocean, she'll "know her place" soon enough. While it was mocking, Lilyheart actually has to admit, the name has a charm to it --- and her mate had picked it. She names the little calico Guppykit, alongside her larger siblings Eelkit and Whalekit,
    APPRENTICEHOOD
    AUG '24 - FEB '25 x
    Her father argues on her behalf, insists she should be apprenticed to a weaver. That girls have ALWAYS been weavers. Guppypaw had her eyes set on being a pearl diver, and she feels her future crumble as her father keeps arguing. Eventually, the choice is made for her, and she is apprenticed to a weaver. Her brother's puff out their chests proudly, having been apprenticed to warriors --- ready to serve their clan while their sister is stuck "on nest duty". This is only the start of their mocking, and their father and mother do nothing to assist her. She realizes at this time that her brothers will never be able to do any wrong in their father's eyes, and shrinks into herself, focusing on her duties.

    While it isn't what she wants to be doing, weaving has its perks and she's learned how to make cute and delicate things, decorating her own nest, her own being. Even if she isn't a "warrior", she is given minor battle training just in case... and her mentor is quick to notice her strong swimming skills --- wondering why her parents were so insistent on the molly being a weaver instead of using her skills to her advantage. When her mentor confronts her about this, she gets nervous, knowing her father will be upset if questioned. She goes on a dive at her mentor's request and purposely slams her jaw into some rocks, leading to a rather nasty scar. In her eyes, this was her "proving" she wasn't cut out for the life of a pearl diver.

    All that really happens, is she gets a one way trip to the medicine cat den --- as well as a permanent scar on her face by trying to follow her father's wishes. Shortly after this incident, her mother has a single kit litter, Pikekit, another tom. Guppypaw shrinks into herself again, knowing soon she'll have another brother old enough to tease her and rub their success in her face.

    MAR '25 - PRESENT x
    She is given her warrior name at 13 moons, Guppysplash, for her strong swimming skills. Her brothers are also made warriors, and her parents seem to pay her little attention while they bask in the spotlight. However, after they get their share, a shift starts to happen. Whaleshadow and Eeltooth grow incredibly protective of her, remarking how her scar isn't befitting of her --- murmuring how she'll find a mate with that mark. Her father nods his approval at her brothers.

    In horror, Guppysplash realizes they're setting her up, looking for her mate prospects, ready to pair her up like her mother had been. She doesn't want this. More than anything, she wants freedom. She wants to be a pearl diver, she wants to choose her own path... and she wants to know what life is like outside of her clan walls.
  • While not a large family, Guppysplash comes from a lineage of arranged marriages and "demure" mollies who listen to their mates. She was born in Riverclan and her loyalties lie with Riverclan.

Her blue eyes looked away from her sister, "As you can see, I'm fine. Unlike Wavepaw." It was pure, unbridled venom. She almost spat their sister's name out, knowing that because of Seafoam, their sister had never gotten a chance at life. No chance to be a warrior, no chance to be a mentor, no chance to find love.

  • a long furred grey speckled molly with black patches and blue eyes.

    getting older gracefully is one of urchin's strengths. despite her retirement from being a warrior, she could still absolutely demolish someone if they threatened the nursery. she has reared three litters of her own and probably knows motherhood and the nursery better than the back of her paw... if she was one to boast. urchinspine is a fluffy grey molly with brittle fur, streaks of silver from aging, especially along her muzzle, and icy blue eyes. she has darker grey patches along her face and pelt, as well as a white underbelly, legs and muzzle. it has been said she smells of milk, kittens, and occasionally an almost... sad odor. most aren't really sure how to explain it.

    she seems to have a permanent scowl, especially since her mate passed away and she shifted to the role of caregiver after her own wounds were healed. the dark scar along her throat a reminder of the attack that claimed his and tulipmask's life.

  • Urchinspine was quite the warrior in her youth, or so others have murmured. her and oleanderwish were set to be mates since apprenticehood, and he seemed to be her everything... it seemed to utterly shatter whatever she used to be when he passed away alongside their son 12 moons ago. most know her now as the bitter old woman that lives in the nursery, helping den dads, expectant mothers, and even nursing mothers when they need the break. her children check up on her now and again... but it seems like they are trying to work through their own lives and their own grief at the loss of their father.

    urchinspine seems to have two sides, the one everyone sees: a bitter molly who is quick to snap at those she deems "stupid", impatient, grumpy, demanding... and the calm and collected senior queen who coaches new parents through the hardest of times. the one that smiles seeing kits wrestle, the one who shares clan history with apprentices. she's always been a confusing molly to some, and some pity her (don't say that to her face, you're more than likely to get smacked). her advice to new or expectant mothers (or den dads) is viewed as a welcome comfort, a wisdom. and while she at first wasn't thrilled with being stuck in the nursery... she has seemed to open up to it

  • Urchinspine has been a caregiver/elder for the last 12 moons, as such some of her skills have waned. Still, she is a formidable foe in terms of strength and would lay her life down to protect the nursery and the kits within it. Her bulky and wide shoulders make dexterity and agility difficult but she has a lot of raw strength..

    Born to traditional parents Greywing and Morningmist alongside her littermates Wavekit and Seafoamkit, Greywing immediately resumed his duties as a warrior. Leaving their mother to raise them alone in the nursery, with only the occasional visit from the medicine cat to keep her company. Morningmist however, was a doting mother. She adored all three of her daughters equally, and while Urchinkit was the shyest of the three, the other two seemed completely full of energy. Seafoamkit and Wavekit were always play-fighting while Urchinkit stuck to the sidelines, knowing that one day the three would make great warriors to their clan.
    APPRENTICEHOOD
    APR '19 - OCT '19 x
    The three were named as apprentices together, with Urchinpaw being matched to the equally quiet and shy Ruineyes --- a tom who had recently had a run in with a hare that left his face scarred and blind in one eye. Nonetheless, he was strong, large --- and the perfect mentor to really help Urchinpaw hone her skills as a warrior. She was always a touch larger than other apprentices, perhaps due to her father's genetics, but it was clear that while her sisters may excel at the other clan roles... she was meant for the path of a warrior.

    During her apprenticeship, she met him, Oleanderpaw. He was a few moons her senior, and was also setting up to be a warrior once he passed his assessment. Oleanderpaw was a show-off, he enjoyed making the female apprentices laugh and fawn over him. Urchinpaw was coming into her own at this point, growing more comfortable in her own skin, and she scoffed at his attempts to impress her. This seemed to make him try harder, and after he failed his first warrior assessment, Urchinpaw was the only apprentice to not pity him. She scoffed and told him to try harder.

    Oleanderpaw became Oleanderwish two moons before Urchinpaw was due for her own assessment, and he was sent on a patrol with her, Ruineyes, and another warrior shortly after. During this, they were accidentally separated from the group, and Oleanderwish grabbed Urchinpaw before she slipped into a gorge. She hated to admit it, but he was handsome, despite the cockiness. Once they were reunited with their clanmates, it was hard to deny the crush she had on him. He brought her back to camp unscathed, and Morningmist flooded him with compliments, while Ruineyes looked relieved he had not lost his apprentice.

    However, disaster had struck while they were out of camp. A screech was heard as Seafoampaw dragged the limp and battered body of Wavepaw back to camp, there was no saving her, her spirit had long since fled to Starclan. Her and her sister had been testing out their ranger skills, with Seafoampaw daring Wavepaw to cross the Thunderpath or she was a "coward". Wavepaw relented, but wasn't quick enough to run off the path when the monster roared across and struck her. Seafoampaw looked defeated, Urchinpaw however... was furious.

    Morningmist mourned her daughter alone, with Greywing not one for emotion. Seafoampaw was taken to the medicine cat den to be looked over, but all Urchinpaw could think while she held vigil for her sister was how Seafoampaw had killed her.
    WARRIORHOOD
    MAY '19 - MAY '24 x
    She was given her warrior name first between her and Seafoampaw, as Seafoampaw was deemed to need more time. Urchinspine, for her unwavering spirit. She met Oleanderwish after, and after a brief walk alone outside camp, a hunting venture, the two decided to become mates. One moon later, and Urchinspine, 14 moons at the time, was pregnant with their first litter. Seafoampaw passed her warrior assessment not long after Urchinspine found out, becoming Seafoambelly for her unwavering laughter and jolly spirit despite everything that happened. Urchinspine wanted nothing to do with her sister, even if everyone else seemed to have forgiven her. Oleanderwish respected his mate's wishes, even if he felt pity --- knowing it was a small mistake.

    At 16 moons, Urchinspine gave birth to two kits: Daturakit and Tulipkit. Both sons. Oleanderwish puffed out his chest in pride, staying by his mate's side whenever he could. He would preform his duties and return to her, sleeping by her side each night. When their first litter was apprenticed, Greywing had passed away from illness and Seafoambelly tried once again to talk to her sister at their father's vigil. Urchinspine snarled at her, storming off to check on her sons.

    Once her sons were made warriors, Daturablossom for his kind heart and Tulipmask for his markings, Urchinspine found herself pregnant with her second litter. This time she gave birth to two mollies: Moonflowerkit and Dandelionkit. The same routine followed, with Oleanderwish staying close to his mate when he could. Tulipmask even had the task of being Moonflowerpaw's mentor when she was appenticed, while Dandelionpaw was apprenticed to a more senior warrior. Unfortunately, sometimes tragedy strikes twice.

    Dandelionpaw was killed during an ambush at sunningrocks alongside her mentor, with her small body being dragged to camp by the patrol that found them. Urchinspine was devastated, but she had a web of comfort from her mother, mate, sons, and her other daughter. Seaformbelly tried to offer her sympathy and was met by a firm paw to the face, and a scream to get away from her.

    Moonflowerpaw was named Moonflowerheart, both due to her personality and to honour her sister. She joined her brothers proudly after her ceremony.

    At 70 moons, a senior warrior to some but still in her prime, Urchinspine fell pregnant again. She was almost surprised, but she welcomed her next litter of kits, her largest: Primrosekit, Comfreykit, and Lupinekit. While resting in the nursery after their birth, the colony was attacked. Oleanderwish was quick to guard the nursery, his mate, his kits --- but he was overpowered by the attackers. Rogues, fighting dirty, after the kits. Urchinspine watched as they killed her mate, and roared into a frenzy. She rushed forward, only to have her own throat slit after taking one down. She laid there, powerless as the rogues went for her kits... but Tulipmask rushed in, protecting his siblings --- driving a majority out before his yowl was heard, falling to the ground with his stomach slashed, bleeding out by his mother that was slowly losing consciousness. The last thing Urchinspine saw was the other warriors coming to attack, defending her kits.

    She awoke in the medicine cat den, panicked. She was informed that Comfreykit, Primrosekit, and Lupinekit were all fine... while also being informed of Oleanderwish and Tulipmask's deaths. She yowled loud enough to wake the dead, but she knew she had to be strong for her kits, who were now being reared by a caregiver while she recovered.

    She recovered in time to see them be made apprentices... but her wounds forced her into retirement, and due to her own history of childbearing and rearing --- instead of retiring to the elder's den, she took over as the primary caregiver within the colony.

    MAY '24 - PRESENT x
    When the colony split apart, Urchinspine opted to stay with Thunderclan, knowing it's what her mate probably would have wanted. Her elder children followed her, and her younger children did not have a choice. Urchinspine mainly stays in the nursery now, but she does take the time to spend with all her kits. While she wasn't thrilled about it at first, she welcomes her role. But her bitterness at the loss of her mate and son seems to cloud her vision.

    In December of 2025, Urchinspine's final litter of kits was made warriors. Primrosepaw had asked Loonstar if she could be given the "mask" suffix, in honour of her older brother that saved her life. Their warrior ceremony was the first time Urchin had openly wept since her mate and son's passing.

    In late December of 2025, Seafoambelly saw a pregnant molly attempting to cross the Thunderpath. It was clear she had already been struck or harmed, Seafoambelly tried to help her but ended up being struck by an oncoming monster. Urchin and Seafoam were able to reconcile, but Seafoam lost her life. The queen did as well, but not before she birthed a single kitten. Urchin brought the molly back to camp, claiming her as her own and naming her Saffronkit.
  • Urchinspine was widowed when her mate was slain and has never taken another mate. She has five living children, and one adopted kit. She hopes one of her older children will bless her with grandkits before she passes into Starclan. She has become stuck with some kits following Serpentberry's passing but she views herself as a caregiver rather than their mother.

  • a primarily orange calico molly with blue eyes and a grumpy face.

    It is theorized that she may have been the last born. Small, a runt in her own right, especially compared to the others that were found. Despite her small size, her most prominent feature is her large and icy blue eyes, many seem to feel they pierce into their very soul. Her size lead her to be protected, a delicate flower --- some almost seemed afraid she may shatter right then and there if they were the slightest bit too forceful with her. It is almost laughable how some of the other apprentices seem to dwarf her, and it is wondered if she is truly ready to be an apprentice when it comes time.

    She is primarily a deep orange, short haired, with all sorts of splotches of colour running across her pelt. Her face is white, black splotches line her back.

  • Saffronpaw is a complex molly. Outwardly, she presents as someone who is eager to learn and feels accepted by her siblings and adopted parent. Internally, she struggles with the deep fear the she does not belong, a feeling that something in her life will lead to the only home she knows (Shadowclan) abandoning her as well. She hates being alone, fearing that it may last forever and lead to her being alone in fourtrees once again. Sablestar and Timberfrost have been honest about her being found, but they both do not devolve anything further. The molly thinks she was alone, and fears that's how she will always be.

    During her apprenticeship (and meeting her biological siblings), she realizes she has been lied to. There were others, and Saffron feels betrayed by this knowledge, lashing out as a result. She begins becoming moody, snapping at her papa and sister that she was once so close to. She starts picking fights with other apprentices, and then crying when it doesn't go her way --- using her small size as a crutch and a tool to use against others. She becomes difficult to approach, scowling at others, being outwardly grumpy.

    Her biggest weakness is her desire for connection while also being afraid to connect to others, she holds almost everyone at an arm's length and is afraid to truly make connections --- worried others will grow tired of her or find her flaws in some way. She uses her small size to her advantage, "tattling" on people so that no one wants to get close to her... it's better to push them away before they want to be her friend after all.

    Saffronkit is discovered near fourtrees, a heap with four other kits. The clans bicker, smelling a mingling of each clan's scents on the kits. After some debate, she is scooped up by Sablestar and taken into Shadowclan's brood. Her true heritage and parenthood is a mystery to all, even herself. She finds herself raised by Timberfrost, the head caregiver of Shadowclan. While he isn't her family and makes her aware of this as soon as she is able to comprehend it, Saffronkit does imprint on him --- her first (and really, only) true connection in the clan. He refuses to devolve her heritage further, but it's fine, as at least she has someone now.

    She grows close with Stoatstream, the daughter of Timberfrost and her sister. While she becomes aware of Fleafire and Monsterpaw as well, she tends to stay close to Stoatstream --- with Fleafire intimidating her and Monsterpaw busy with his assessments. When Timberfrost falls ill, she finds herself practically clinging to Stoatstream --- the molly taking over primary care of the small kit until papa wakes up again. During this time, Saffronkit sneaks out of camp on a miniature herb patrol to attempt to help Magpiepaw and Cicadabuzz heal papa. She encounters a rouge, the brute leaves her with a nick in her ear and batters the small kit. Stoatstream rescues her, but not before the kit is rather shaken up and worried everyone outside of Shadowclan is some kind of brute like that.

    She spends a small amount of time in the medicine den, getting to know Magpiepaw a bit better as well as waiting for papa to wake up. Eventually, he does, and the molly rejoices alongside Stoatstream. In the blur of those two moons, however, the molly forgot she was due to be apprenticed...

Slugpaw loathed Talonpaw.

The tom had come out of nowhere and started one upping him at absolutely everything. It wasn't fair. Slugpaw was a born and raised Windclanner, and he was used to being the absolute best without so much as flexing his paw. But now this annoying mouse-brained outsider wanted to come and one up him? It made his claws flex instinctively in the dirt. Not to mention he was getting awful close to Meadowpaw, something he hated to admit made him jealous.

  • A brown marbled tabby tom with ginger eyes, a nicked right ear, and half a tail from a prior incident in his kithood.

    slugpaw is a smaller than average apprentice, much to his annoyance. He is lithe, thin, but he isn't exactly someone to underestimate in battle or hunting. Under his fur is muscle tone from being a tunneler, his legs are quick, and until recently this was part of his reason to boast. His fur is on the longer side, fluffy despite having slim legs. He is a fully brown tom, with darker brown markings on his tail, face, and pelt. His underside is a lighter shade, with his back paws following this lightening. He is missing half of his tail from an unfortunate meeting with a fox trap in his kithood. He is also missing half of his right ear from a sibling scuffle when he was a young apprentice. He has amber eyes and pink inner ears and nose.

  • From a young age, it's clear that Slugpaw has talent. Even as a kit, he seemed to excel at things faster than his littermates, hitting milestones that his older siblings took much longer to achieve. Being such a talent and quick study, he is met with praise from his parents. The praise grows higher the older he gets, and eventually he becomes a bit of an egomaniac, slurping up the attention and praise like a sponge. When he is apprenticed, his mentor and other warriors of the clan begin to take note of his skills and being praised becomes somewhat of a crutch and a reliance for the young tom. He has his eyes on the medicine cat apprentice Meadowpaw --- though he is a touch too timid to actually approach her, but part of his success is in the hopes she'll notice him as well.

    However, recently a loner named Talon (Talonpaw) has joined the clan. The tom is larger than Slugpaw, younger than Slugpaw, and somehow seems to be one upping him at everything. It starts with mild annoyance, but it blossoms into a full blow loathing for the tom. Not to mention that him and Meadowpaw seem to be awfully close, another point of annoyance for the tom. No matter how hard Slugpaw tries, Talon seems to be better than him in every regard. His snappy and condescending attitude comes out in full swing at Talon, who seems blissfully unaware that the pair aren't just having banter.

    Slugpaw has taken to desperate measures, with his ruthless and cunning attitudes assisting him at making new friends in dark places...

    Slugkit is born to two former loners who joined Windclan just before his only child older sibling, Wormpaw is born. Their eldest litters follows, becoming warriors of Windclan alongside their parents. Slugkit is born in Windclan, the only home he ever knows. His littermates consist of Snailpaw and (insert name if they ever get adopted). From a young age, it is clear that Slugkit has talent. He learns quickly, doing things faster than his littermates and even hitting milestones faster than his siblings ever had. His parents praise him, and eventually he grows accustomed to this praise. He wants more, and strives to be the best in every area.

    While trying to show off that he could hunt before he was apprenticed, his tail is caught in a fox trap just beyond the clan border. Slugkit lives, but his tail is reduced to half of it's original size. Slugkit wears this like a badge of honour.

    He is apprenticed alongside his littermates, all three of them choosing to follow the path of tunneler, much like their parents and older siblings. While celebrating in the apprentice den, their littermate (unnamed) gets too overzealous and accidentally tears Slugpaw's ear --- resulting in a trip to the medicine den and a torn ear for the rest of his life. Another badge of honour that Slugpaw is able to wear.

    He is apprenticed to Weaselchirp, an experienced tunneler that sees his potential and also praises him, much to his excitement. Even other warriors in the clan begin to notice, and Slugpaw grows used to hearing the praise for his skill in all areas. She is a bit older than him, but Slugpaw has certainly taken notice of Meadowpaw. He tries even harder to get praise when she's around, hoping that she'll pay attention to him. However, when the tom is eight moons, a new face appears in the clan: Talon (Talonpaw) a loner than decides to join Windclan. At first, Slugpaw pays little attention to him, focusing on his training. But it quickly becomes apparent that Talon is just as talented as he is, perhaps even moreso. It is immediately frustrating for the tom, especially because Talon is his age and larger than him. Not to mention, due to injuries and his own reckless nature he gets to spend extra time with Meadowpaw. The two seem to be getting quite close as well.

    Slugpaw tries his best to one up Talon, but he feels as though he's coming up short in every area. He starts working harder, tirelessly. Exhausted more quickly, growing more and more furstrated that despite his talent --- Talon is still better. The tom even seems blissfully unaware at just how much Slugpaw loathes him.

    Slugpaw begins to grow desperate, and in his dreams he is visited by a beautiful molly: Thistlewish. She wants to help him, offering to make him better --- offering to help him be better than Talon. However, Slugpaw was blissfully unaware that deals like this come with a price... (this hasn't happened yet shh)

Belladonna herself looks at the apprentice, and then quietly turns to someone nearby. "Can ya' fetch Cicadabuzz or Magpiepaw?" She mutters, padding towards her apprentice. Her tone is soft, even as she looks at the small black cat. She does not wish to frighten her further, nor does she wish to inflict some sort of punishment. Instead, she moves carefully, calculated. The same way Hellebore did when she was first apprenticed, remembering the fear after watching Shimmer be killed by those filthy rogues. Her maternal figure, gone, just as suddenly as her biological mother had been taken from her.

  • A black fluffy she-cat with a white belly, white tail, white feet, and golden eyes. Her back paw is scarred heavily from a dog attack.

    belladonna is of average height but cuts an imposing figure due to her wide frame and broad shoulders. While not massive, her deep facial scarring and torn leg make her look like a grizzled warrior that has seen many hardships. Despite her bulk, she is very quick on her feet and able to twist herself with agile grace during fights. Due to her upbringing and being primarily raised by a rogue, she tends to have a dirty fighting style that realies on catching others off guard. Her fur is long and fluffy, dark grey with darker black due to her smokey patterns. Her mouth, chest, front paws, and tail tip are white and she has deep yellow eyes.

  • Quiet, restricted, and guarded --- it takes a long time to get to know Belladonnadance. Even when you feel like you've gotten to know her, there is still a wall there, is it fear, malice, or something else entirely? Regardless, she is a driven molly, putting her clan first and trying to absorb herself in her own duties. She's no stranger to getting her paws dirty, and even if the memories of her past haunt her, she does what she needs to do to survive. She's a bit on the blunt and snappy side in conversation, she reveals little about herself and avoids probing questions of her past or personal life. She has an incredible amount of restraint and discipline, for better or for worse and can almost come off as a trained soldier rather than a feline at times.

    She is blunt in regards to her feelings, and she'll make it quite clear if she enjoys spending time with you or if she would prefer to avoid you entirely. She has EXTREME trauma around toms and dogs due to her upbringing and would much rather find a kind and patient molly to spend her days with. She is incredibly vindictive and petty if she feels you've wronged her, and tends to hold grudges for much longer than she should.

    Youkai had never had an easy life. The tom was used as a bait animal for a dog fighting ring, getting all sorts of scrapes, wounds, and even part of his face torn. When he was finally given a sort of "leadership" position within the ring, he took it. Not out of desire, but out of necessity for the other cats in a position like his.

    It was through this leadership he met Sakura, a beautiful molly. Their first meeting was between the cold metal bars that encased their yard, but eventually they grew closer and became mates. Sakura blessed him with his first litter when he was (blank moons old), a three kit litter consisting of two toms and a molly.

    Ume, Shiori, and Kazumi were their names. Ume and Shiori had more of the grey that their father had, while Belladonna was a black smoke, a low amount of white on her chest. After their birth, their father officially left the dog fighting ring. But fate has a strange way of reminding you where you started.

    When his first litter was three moons old, Sakura birthed another: three beautiful mollies, all taking after their mother. However, while nursing a dog came tearing down the alley — Youkai was able to grab his older kits and use his body as a shield, but Sakura and his younger daughters were torn to ribbons. Kazumi does not remember much of her mother before this, and trying to summon memories of her or her younger sisters always resulted in her seeing her mother being torn to shreds again.

    Youkai managed to protect Kazumi and her brothers, suffering some new wounds in the process. He buried what was left of his mate and daughters, trying to find a better place for himself and his children that he would now have to raise without a mate.

    At six moons old, the yellow teeth and snapping maws came again. All Youkai could do was lead the beast away, telling his children to run. Ume, Shiori and Kazumi all scattered. She never saw Ume or Shiori again. She hopes they were picked up by twolegs, or that they had some other chance at a nice life. Maybe they're still alive out there, wondering if she made it out.

    Kazumi ran as fast as she could. She was larger than the typical feline of her age, not by much, but enough she could carry herself as far as she needed. When exhaustion finally took over, she had entered the loner lands, beyond the shipyard. She collapsed under an overhang, waking up to a calico molly standing over her the next morning.

    She was grizzled, an older woman with a squinting eye and deep scarring that reminded her of her father. Whiskers twisted and grey, the black on her pelt beginning to grow a shade of silver. She eyed Kazumi, her face twisting in a snarl. Kazumi couldn't help herself, she started sobbing thinking about her mother, her sisters, and her father and brothers that may have been killed that day. The older molly stiffened, before softening and laying beside the young she-cat — licking away her tears.

    She introduced herself as Shimmer, and from that day forth, Shimmer took in Kazumi as her ward. Shimmer taught Kazumi everything she knew about survival, training her to hunt, to stalk, to avoid and survive. Howls or barks in the night would cause Kazumi to cry, and Shimmer would push herself into her until it stopped.
    LIFE WITH SHIMMER
    JAN '21 - JUN '24 x
    At thirteen moons, Kazumi was able to hold her own. She was quiet, hardened. She acted more like a programmed soldier than a cat, only speaking to Shimmer and only speaking to other loners when they addressed her specifically. She joined Shimmer in meeting other loners to share secrets, hunting locations, good places to rest — all for the sake of mutual prosperity.

    At twenty-five moons, the duo had a run in with another dog. Shimmer was quick, rushing into a small space under a building in twolegplace and urging Kazumi to do the same. Kazumi was wider than the slim older molly, and while trying to squeeze under, the dog clamped down on her hind leg hard. Shimmer dug her claws into Kazumi to pull her in, and Kazumi survived — with all the fur missing from her hind leg. The scarring was deep, a red mass of exposed flesh. She limped for a few moons, but eventually recovered. Her hind leg, however, never grew its fur back. Shimmer always joked it made her look scarier, a scar to remember a battle she survived.

    The arrangements went well… until they started talking to a band of rogues. Kazumi had joined her on this excursion, especially as Shimmer was growing older. She was over 120 moons, though she would never tell Kazumi exactly how old. Kazumi was approaching 50, having lived with Shimmer for almost 34 moons — almost her entire life. She had survived winters, summers, prey shortages. This deal with the rogues was supposed to secure her future.

    Kazumi didn't like the means, but she was just over four years old. Shimmer had promised Kazumi would mate with a rogue, produce kits and the duo could live in their clowder and be fed and taken care of. However, Kazumi had a secret she had never discussed with Shimmer: the thought of laying with a tom repulsed her. She was much more interested in the beautiful molly that sat beside the leader as they spoke. Still, she tried to be strong, knowing it would be beneficial for her and the molly that raised her.

    The deal was accepted, and once in private with the tom, Kazumi broke. She couldn't go through with it, running away. Outraged, the tom explained what had happened to their leader who turned on Shimmer. Shimmer gave Kazumi one last pleading look, before telling the molly to run. Kazumi didn't hesitate, but Shimmer's screams have haunted her nightmares since that night. She tried to run, but a rogue caught up to her. She managed to send him running, but not before he left her with some deep gashes on her face to remember him by.

    DEC '24 - PRESENT x
    Bloodied, without the only feline she could call family, and terrified. She cried for the first time since she lost her father and brothers. It took her moons of wandering to finally stumble into Shadowclan camp. She was 56 moons, and practically fainted on their doorstep. The clan had recently splintered away from Thunderclan — a clan they once shared a colony with. A divide in loyalty had split them apart, and the newly formed clan was closeknit. The leader, Sablestar, took pity on the molly. She was thin, her facial gashes deep and marred from a lack of proper care, her pelt stained with blood and foliage. She was helped by their medicine cat, and once she was well enough to stand, she softly thanked Sablestar for his kindness and went to leave. However, she was offered a home there, a place to stay — a loose idea of a family and a colony where all they asked was you to pull your weight.

    Due to the state she was found in, she was given the name Belladonna. It felt fresh, like a new start after the life Kazumi had lived. She trained with Helleboremask, an older molly who had a good sense of humour — often joking about small mishaps the molly had. After a few moons to test her skill, she was given the name "Belladonnadance" — due to her odd fighting style, the same she had learned from Shimmer. It felt right, like a remnant of her in a way.

    At 67 moons, during a scavenging mission to steal prey from Skyclan — she found Youkai. Her father. He was of their clan, his new name being Duskpool. She was stunned, and the two reconnected as much as they could before the Skyclan leader or deputy caught her. Her father told her they would talk more at the next gathering, but upon arriving… she discovered her father had fallen into the gorge, leading dogs away from his clanmates.

    She was heartbroken, but was able to learn from the Skyclan deputy that she was actually Duskpool's half-sister. Meaning that she had some family after all. The pair conversed, and they decided to meet when they could to reconnect.

    Through Flowercloud, her aunt: she has learned of Starclan. She prays often, talking to Shimmer, to her mother, sometimes even to Duskpool. She's mumbled things to Shiori and Ume too, just in case they're up there.

    Her loyalty belongs to Shadowclan, and she has been gifted her first apprentice recently: Crowpaw.
  • Kazumi, as she was known as a loner, was raised solely by her father until she was six moons old and a dog attacked. Following this, she was taken under the wing of Shimmer, a loner, until her unfortunate passing.

While he isn't her family and makes her aware of this as soon as she is able to comprehend it, Saffronkit does imprint on him --- her first (and really, only) true connection in the clan.     Mallowpaw is a very fluffy tom, differing in appearance from both his mother and sister which adds to his sense of self and unique ideals. He is a fairly typical snowshoe tom for those familiar with the breed; primarily a light biege with darker legs, ears, and tail. He has a squiggle of cream splitting the darker patch on his face, as well as his front and back left paws being cream. His eyes are a deep sky blue, also heavily differing from his mother and sister. His eyes always have a slight sparkle to them, wonder and curiousity spark within.

  • Mallow is… different. He doesn't quite understand societal norms and customs despite being taught by his mother, sister, and mentor. He can sometimes come off as a bit rude due to not thinking before he speaks, though he genuinely meant it in a positive light. He's hyper, friendly, and a bit too trusting — especially of those from other clans. For him, it's a genuine curiosity, knowing that they all differ slightly from where he grew up.

    Mallow is fearless in the worst way, his supreme sense of curiosity means he often leaps before he looks. He has put himself in danger a few times, though he usually has someone to pull him out. He would never do well in a diplomatic role, as he believes everything can be solved by friendship and kindness — still not fully understanding why there are borders within the clans at all.

    Gatherings are Mallow's favourite thing, especially as it is a heavy chance for him to make new friends. He hopes once he is a warrior he still gets to go to them often.

    Despite his carelessness and tactless approach to chatter, he is a loyal warrior with a lot of potential. He just has to beat his bad habits.

    Honeysuckle arrived to Skyclan in Leafbare, her belly was full of kits and there was no tom in sight. She asked for asylum, a place to safely bear her young and then she would be on her way. However, Hawkstar welcomed her fully. She was given the name Honeysucklepool, and tasked with being a caregiver for the growing clan. After a few days in the new clan, she birthed her children: a tom and a molly. She named the two Mallow and Dandelion, which were corrected to the clan naming scheme of Mallowkit and Dandelionkit.

    Dandelionkit was a soft cream molly that looked like a smaller clone of her mother, a tiny puffball of cream and golden fur. Mallowkit was the outlier. He bore no resemblance to his mother or sister, instead being a snowshoe tom with blue eyes. Honeysucklepool did not talk about their parentage, but it was assumed Mallow likely resembled his father.

    Mallowkit was the more curious of the pair, wanting to explore and meet his new clanmates. Dandelionkit was much shyer, hiding behind her mother and relying on her brother to introduce her to her new home and clan.

    At six moons, both kits were made apprentices. Mallowpaw, as he was now called, was given to Anemonespring. They were kind enough, but they always seemed busy somehow — pushing off their duties. They trained Mallow when forced, but after two moons, they disappeared. The clan gossip was that they left clan life behind to become a kittypet, no one was really sure.

    After Anemonespring left, Mallowpaw was given to Quailstep. She was reliable, driven, and a more grounded mentor for the hyper Mallowpaw. He took to her instantly, almost treating her like a second mother at times. He looks up to her heavily, and felt his own chest swell with pride when Quailstep was made a Sun Guard.

    Mallowpaw is soon to be a warrior, doing well under Quailstep's tutelage. He can't wait for that day, though he hopes him and Quailstep will still get to see each other lots.

  • a wide fluffy black tabby tom with low white and deep scarring over his left eye that has left him blind in that eye. His right eye is a deep amber.

    Burly like his sister, Stagwhisper is a rather striking and muscular tom. While not quite as tall and wide as his sister, he still cuts quite a figure among his clanmates. His self-doubts and fear that he wasn't as good as his clanmates due to his disability has lead him to follow the path of a forager --- but he could still likely hold his own in battle if needed. His pelt pattern resembles his sister with more white, and a dark hue that seems reflective of his inner turmoil as a warrior. A dog attack in his youth has left him with deep facial scarring, as well as blindness in his left eye. His remaining eye is a crisp amber, like the leaves of fall.

  • Stagwhisper is a highly personable tom, once you get to know him. He is shy to a fault, having trouble talking to those he is unfamiliar with or doesn't know. He tends to stutter and stumble over his words when he gets nervous, and he especially struggles talking to those that have authority like his leader, deputy, and storm guards (other than his sister, Hazelheart). His suffix was given to him due to this, though he doesn't necessarily view it as a bad thing. He believes some cats say far too much, and that it is better to speak when spoken to instead of risking being judged for blindly stating an opinion.

    He is a friendly and courteous tom once you get to know him. He will always assist his clanmates in anything they ask, wanting to do his best to assist. He especially enjoys helping with nest building, and will always volunteer for this if needed. He is a very insecure tom due to his blindness and scars, thinking he is "hideous" and unapproachable. He likes to prove he can be useful to his clanmates. He covers that insecurity with jokes at his own expense.

    He has a particular soft spot for young cats, especially those he sees himself in (those who are insecure or nervous, or those that seem far too eager to please).

    Stagwhisper comes from a loving and large family, his parents had two litters before he was born. The first consisting of his sister Hare and (unnamed NPC), flourishing alongside their parents. The second litter consisted of Hazel, an only child. The final litter, quite a bit younger — a mistake perhaps, a happy accident; consisted of Stag and his littermate (unnamed NPC). They grew up alongside their parents, wandering cats.

    When Stag was six moons old, a dog bolted out of the bushes and grabbed the young tom before his family could react. He was gripped by the face, the dog's maw tearing into his flesh and ripping away fur and muscle. His father and older sisters managed to drive it off, their mother rushing to the young tom for comfort. Through the help of other cats, Stag managed to recover. Though, he was left with deep facial scarring and blindness in the eye on the side that he had been grabbed due to the trauma.

    The family thanked the colony that had saved their son, and while their parents wanted to keep wandering; Hare, Hazel, and Stag opted to stay with the colony. Hare admired the colony, reminiscing about how in her own time of need — before Hazel and Stag were born, when her tail was caught in a snare and she had been helped by those not in her family. Hazel met Bracken in the colony, the pair falling for each other rather quickly and soon enough, when Stag was nine moons old — his sister made him an uncle. Magnolia, Hyacinth, and Honeysuckle were their names. Despite not being much older than them, Stag tried his best to be a good uncle, especially seeing how no-nonsense their parents were.

    Hazel grew close to both Juniper and Sable, with her being especially close to Sable. However, the good could not last.

    When Stag was 32 moons, Sable created a splinter group within the colony and caused an uprising. An attack ensued, with some fighting for Thorn and some for Sable. It resulted in the death of Bracken, and numerous others. His family was safe though, and when Sable and his posse were sent back to the pocosin — he opted to stay with his sister. They are visited by Starclan, the spirits of the dead — a life after death. It seemed like a fantasy, he would not have believed it if he didn't see it with his own eyes. Hawthorn is named leader, gifted with the name "Star". He goes by "Thornstar".

    Eventually, Thornstar is killed in battle — replaced by Juniperstar. Juniperstar is decisive, despite the hard choices she has ahead of her. She is pregnant, with the kits of Sable. A tom who is also gifted nine lives by Starclan. Her kits splinter away, some going to their father, Asterkit comes back with his mother — the only remnant of their once storied romance.

    Juniperstar takes her time, picking her council, gifting warrior with names. Hare becomes Harechaser, Hazel becomes Hazelheart and a member of Juniper's council, and Stag becomes Stagwhisper. Life has been largely normal since then, with him enjoying the company of his family. He was gifted with an apprentice recently, and he can only hope he does right by them.
  • Stagwhisper's parents continued their travels after him and his older siblings decided to stay with the colony. Regardless, he is very close to his family that stuck around.

  • A large dark grey tabby tom with heterochromia

    Mallet is on the larger side for cats, it's especially noticable as he ages when he begins to dwarf his siblings and even his mother. He has broad shoulders, a large head, and a massive frame. His paws are tremendously large, and there's no doubt from those around him that he'll grow up to be a rather large tom. He has dark grey fur, marked with your average darker tabby markings. He is primarily a solid grey but his nose and paws have a lighter grey tint. His most striking feature is his differently coloured eyes, his left being blue and his right being green. As a cadet, he gets nicks in both his ears.

Mallet is the largest of the litter, taking it upon himself to pick up the torch and be the protector of his siblings and mother. The months are growing colder, and it has come time for him and his siblings to have their plushie ceremony --- a Rustclaw rite of passage.

  • petite cream cat with a large golden marking over their eye and golden eyes.

    Gil is almost entirely a singular colour. A pale cream coloured pelt, short fur flush to his frame. She has a darker splash of ginger over her right eye, the only hint of another colour. Her eyes are a shimmering gold, likely where their parent got the inspiration for their name from. They are somewhat small, "compact", and do not do much growing between becoming six moons and growing fully.

  • Gil has their sights set high from a young age. Her goals are simple: trade shinies for better shinies. A simply business that as he grows up, ends up taking over most of his life. As a kit, it is brushed off as fun and games. Cheddar has a bad habit of enabling the behaviour, possibly due to their own inexperience as a parent. As Gil grows up, it becomes a business of sorts and she even occassionally crosses into clan territory to do trades with them.

    Unfortunately, Gil isn't exactly honest in their business. They are manipulative, a thief, and often use lies to get their way. She has been known to have sticky paws, often taking things that do not belong to her and then lying about it afterwards. He isn't exactly a family oriented cat, much more focused on his trades and desire for riches. As he grows up, he stays in warriorclan but isn't exactly close to their family in any meaningful way. He does like toying around with the clans however, finding it to be quite funny.

    After a chance fling, Cheddar, a kittypet --- gives birth to three kittens. They lead their own double life, being a warrior known as Cheddarspark within Warriorclan. She proudly introduces her kits to her Warriorclan, a place that they will also grow up with. Gil has two siblings; Azure and Aether. She is not close with either, even from a young age. Aether and himself do not get along, clashing. While herself and Azure sometimes get along, with Gil mainly seeing Azure as easily manipulated.

    A small long furred molly with an intricate pelt, from the moment she could cognitively identify beauty, she was fully committed to priding herself in her appearance. She is a mixture of both her parents perfectly, a cinnamon tortie with a soft and light pelt --- dappled with flecks of chocolate and a small amount of white across her muzzle, chest, and paws. She is slim and delicate, but appears a bit larger than her actual mass due to her voluminous fur. Her eyes are a sharp copper, often prying and looking for the weakness of others --- hoping to tear them down a peg so she can come out on top.

  • Vanity was bred into Gracepaw. From the time she was a kit, it was clear she was the favoured one. At first, to a young mind, it's confusing to see your parents praise you but shut down your littermate for doing almost the exact same things. However, with age, she came to enjoy it, even building an ego from how much her parents built her up. She was raised watching her parents build her a ladder to greatness while hammering her littermate down, which is how she learned to treat others that do not meet her own personal standards of what is "greatness". Truthfully, Gracepaw has never worked or tried hard to achieve anything in her life and was instead built up on false platitudes by her parents. She actually has very little skill in being an apprentice or future warrior, but according to her parents, she has always been naturally gifted, no matter what others say.

    Gracepaw has always been an attractive molly, and she's perfectly aware of this fact. She knows exactly how to use it to her advantage, using it to bend both toms and mollies to her will whenever she needs. She has an eye on the clan, almost prying, and is quite observant, knowing almost all the clan gossip without really trying, not to mention that she's outspoken and quite approachable, causing others to just hang over their juicy tidbits without a second thought. Funnily enough, she doesn't let most of these things get to her head and often comes across as aloof. She's rather rational and impartial for most of the gossip she hears... she honestly just likes holding it over the heads of others.

    Confident to a fault, with the charm and wit to back it up, Gracepaw is quite a force to be reckoned with at her best --- and a nightmare at her worst. She's a stereotypical mean girl and almost prides herself on hurting the feelings of others, with a special cruelty towards her littermate. She lives for gossip, but if she ever hears gossip about herself she certainly isn't afraid to confront the person who said it about her and give them a piece of her mind. She likes being in power, and she likes using her confidence to exploit others, using their insecurities to bend them to her will. Though, in terms of actual relationships and friends... she does seem a tad too focused on appearance. She can go from zero to one hundred quite quickly, especially if she hears something negative about herself, like a literal storm brewing.

    Being the favourite, she has often followed how her parents treated her siblings and mimicked them. She tends to have shaky relationships with her younger siblings at best and has always relied on her parents a bit too closely. Once they vanish, Gracepaw gets meaner. Angrier. No one is around to praise her anymore, and she's beginning to realize that the only people whose world revolved entirely around her was her parents. She does have a close inner circle of those she deems worthy, mostly others who have a bit of a meanness to them as well.

    Born in the Colony to (parent name) and (parent name) following the disappearance of their eldest son, Snowcap. They did not mourn his disappearance, instead moving on quickly, needing to fix their mistakes --- to try again and make something better. Gracekit and her littermate (insert name) are born, a fresh start and a way to correct their mistakes. They do not speak of the mistake that was Snowcap, and instead focus on these two fresh kittens that they can mould. Even from kithood, it is clear that Gracekit is favoured. Even her name suggests favouritism, being chosen by her mother to signify what she desired from her daughter in an almost vain and materialistic way.

    When her and her littermate are still very young, the colony splinters, and her parents elect to side with what becomes Thunderclan. She is too young to truly remember the colony separating. As her and her littermate get older, it becomes clear to both her, her sibling, and outsiders that she is the favoured kit. Others try to offer advice, but it falls on deaf ears, and soon enough Gracekit has fully understood that in her parent's eyes, she can do no wrong. She starts joining in on the belittling of her littermate, knowing her parents will not stop her, knowing that she is better than them because her parents said so. While her sibling had a more harsh upbringing, she always seemed to escape it, and she always seemed to be praised just for existing.

    She is apprenticed and due to her upbringing, she feels no need to try particularly hard. After all, she is naturally gifted. It is frustrating to her mentor, but all his complaints fall on deaf ears. Even when Gracepaw does put effort in, she grows frustrated when it isn't immediately perfect. A small touch of perfectionism and frustration in her when things don't fully go her way. At seven moons, her parents have another litter, three younger siblings. Though it is still abundantly clear that she is the favourite, the favoured. The one they always seem to spill the most of their love on.

    When her parents disappear, Gracepaw is shaken up. She grows angrier, bitter, snappy. She realizes with a sudden urgency that the only time someone's world revolved around her was her parents... and now they're gone. She isn't sure how to be anything without praise, and almost shuts down entirely. She misses her parents dearly, and thinks about them often.

    Dreamkit is a rather fluffy tom with a primarily white pelt. He is darted in dark grey patches of fur, but his chest fur is entirely this darker colour. He a dark grey patch over his left eye and ear, as well as smaller dark grey patches all over his pelt and face. One of particularly interest is a heart shaped one on his rump. His tail tip is also dark grey. A striking characteristic of his appearance is his pink eyes, which seemingly have a star in them.

  • Dreamkit prefers getting lost in his dream worlds than facing the world around him. He doesn't have a bad life, his parents and uncle are all lovely cats. There's just something about dreams that is so much more alluring than the waking world. He is passionate about his dreams, often trying to figure out what they mean. Overall, he is a very calm and relaxed cat, collected even in the worst situations. He has a level-head and very rarely feels urgency or panic. However, he is a very quiet tom. He is passive, and very placid. It iis quite hard to tell what is on his mind because he has never been the best at showing emotions. Internally, he is a very thoughtful and reflective cat, but most would never know that.

    Due to his tendancy to rely on his dreams and desire to cling to them, he is viewed as lazy, especially as an apprentice. He moves at a sloth's pace, and takes everythign slowly and methodically. He tends to be childish, no matter how old he gets.

    When he discovers his power, he relies further on his dreams to help him solve problems and I could see him poking around in dreams a loot.

From a young age, Dreamkit seems to have his head in the clouds. He is sleepy, curling up beside his mother and getting lost in his dreams. He almost seems to prefer his dreams to the waking world. He is close to his parents and uncle, though they wonder how he will fare as an apprentice. He will not use his dreamwalking ability until he is apprenticed.

    A small long furred molly with an intricate pelt, from the moment she could cognitively identify beauty, she was fully committed to priding herself in her appearance. She is a mixture of both her parents perfectly, a cinnamon tortie with a soft and light pelt --- dappled with flecks of chocolate and a small amount of white across her muzzle, chest, and paws. She is slim and delicate, but appears a bit larger than her actual mass due to her voluminous fur. Her eyes are a sharp copper, often prying and looking for the weakness of others --- hoping to tear them down a peg so she can come out on top.

  • Vanity was bred into Gracepaw. From the time she was a kit, it was clear she was the favoured one. At first, to a young mind, it's confusing to see your parents praise you but shut down your littermate for doing almost the exact same things. However, with age, she came to enjoy it, even building an ego from how much her parents built her up. She was raised watching her parents build her a ladder to greatness while hammering her littermate down, which is how she learned to treat others that do not meet her own personal standards of what is "greatness". Truthfully, Gracepaw has never worked or tried hard to achieve anything in her life and was instead built up on false platitudes by her parents. She actually has very little skill in being an apprentice or future warrior, but according to her parents, she has always been naturally gifted, no matter what others say.

    Gracepaw has always been an attractive molly, and she's perfectly aware of this fact. She knows exactly how to use it to her advantage, using it to bend both toms and mollies to her will whenever she needs. She has an eye on the clan, almost prying, and is quite observant, knowing almost all the clan gossip without really trying, not to mention that she's outspoken and quite approachable, causing others to just hang over their juicy tidbits without a second thought. Funnily enough, she doesn't let most of these things get to her head and often comes across as aloof. She's rather rational and impartial for most of the gossip she hears... she honestly just likes holding it over the heads of others.

    Confident to a fault, with the charm and wit to back it up, Gracepaw is quite a force to be reckoned with at her best --- and a nightmare at her worst. She's a stereotypical mean girl and almost prides herself on hurting the feelings of others, with a special cruelty towards her littermate. She lives for gossip, but if she ever hears gossip about herself she certainly isn't afraid to confront the person who said it about her and give them a piece of her mind. She likes being in power, and she likes using her confidence to exploit others, using their insecurities to bend them to her will. Though, in terms of actual relationships and friends... she does seem a tad too focused on appearance. She can go from zero to one hundred quite quickly, especially if she hears something negative about herself, like a literal storm brewing.

    Being the favourite, she has often followed how her parents treated her siblings and mimicked them. She tends to have shaky relationships with her younger siblings at best and has always relied on her parents a bit too closely. Once they vanish, Gracepaw gets meaner. Angrier. No one is around to praise her anymore, and she's beginning to realize that the only people whose world revolved entirely around her was her parents. She does have a close inner circle of those she deems worthy, mostly others who have a bit of a meanness to them as well.

    Born in the Colony to (parent name) and (parent name) following the disappearance of their eldest son, Snowcap. They did not mourn his disappearance, instead moving on quickly, needing to fix their mistakes --- to try again and make something better. Gracekit and her littermate (insert name) are born, a fresh start and a way to correct their mistakes. They do not speak of the mistake that was Snowcap, and instead focus on these two fresh kittens that they can mould. Even from kithood, it is clear that Gracekit is favoured. Even her name suggests favouritism, being chosen by her mother to signify what she desired from her daughter in an almost vain and materialistic way.

    When her and her littermate are still very young, the colony splinters, and her parents elect to side with what becomes Thunderclan. She is too young to truly remember the colony separating. As her and her littermate get older, it becomes clear to both her, her sibling, and outsiders that she is the favoured kit. Others try to offer advice, but it falls on deaf ears, and soon enough Gracekit has fully understood that in her parent's eyes, she can do no wrong. She starts joining in on the belittling of her littermate, knowing her parents will not stop her, knowing that she is better than them because her parents said so. While her sibling had a more harsh upbringing, she always seemed to escape it, and she always seemed to be praised just for existing.

    She is apprenticed and due to her upbringing, she feels no need to try particularly hard. After all, she is naturally gifted. It is frustrating to her mentor, but all his complaints fall on deaf ears. Even when Gracepaw does put effort in, she grows frustrated when it isn't immediately perfect. A small touch of perfectionism and frustration in her when things don't fully go her way. At seven moons, her parents have another litter, three younger siblings. Though it is still abundantly clear that she is the favourite, the favoured. The one they always seem to spill the most of their love on.

    When her parents disappear, Gracepaw is shaken up. She grows angrier, bitter, snappy. She realizes with a sudden urgency that the only time someone's world revolved around her was her parents... and now they're gone. She isn't sure how to be anything without praise, and almost shuts down entirely. She misses her parents dearly, and thinks about them often.

    A long furred molly with spiky fur. Olivekit's fur is prickly and often seems to be a mess, she is also prone to having petals, leaves, or twigs stuck in her fur from being a rough and tumble molly. Her fur is a greyish brown, primarily a solid colour with darker flecks of brown adding "freckles" to her fur. Her tail has some darker stripes, but largely she is solid coloured. She has a cream coloured heart pattern on her chest and eyes that resemble a fire. Occasionally she can suffer from a snaggletooth.

  • Olivekit has just barely opened her eyes, and she's already desperate to start exploring. The world beyond the nursery seems so vast, and she desperately wants to explore it. After some debate, she is scooped up by Sablestar and taken into Shadowclan's brood. Her true heritage and parenthood is a mystery to all, even herself. She finds herself raised by Timberfrost, the head caregiver of Shadowclan. While he isn't her family and makes her aware of this as soon as she is able to comprehend it, Saffronkit does imprint on him --- her first (and really, only) true connection in the clan. He refuses to devolve her heritage further, but it's fine, as at least she has someone now. (to be edited further once she is introduced into rp)
