Frostmoth has grown into himself. Duties like these no longer feel like the young deputy is living within a skin that does not belong to him. He feels like himself, not an imposter among a sea of RiverClanners. And he would like to think- or he hopes, at least- that his clanmates feel the same way about him. Most days follow the same format: he rises early enough to assign and join the dawn patrols, gets his chores done early, and then rests until evening and dusk patrols go out.
Thus, as the sky paints itself with roses and lavenders, so also does Frostmoth take his place near the camp entrance to assign patrols to RiverClan.
"Good morning," he greets them without much pomp and circumstance "Gather for patrols."
"I'll lead a patrol to ThunderClan's border and sunningrocks," he begins, but grants his assertion no further emotion or implication as to why "I'd like Crowvortex, Guppysplash, and Pineheart."
"Pigeonpearl, I would like for you to lead the patrol to SkyClan," he nods to the sharp lifeguard as he spots her in the crowd "Take Lichentuft, Smokewreath, and Littlebrook."
"Russetfall, I'd like you to lead a patrol to fourtrees," he finds the russet-coated molly in the gathering warriors, a reliable face "Take Wavesong, Stormswirl, and Hazecloud."
"Pikestar, if you will, I'd like for you to lead our hunting patrol. We need to prepare for the weather to change in the coming months," he nods to the leader, sure that he and the warriors accompanying him will be sure to bring home a good bounty "Take Dogflicker, Willowburn, Mistveil, and Coyoteclaw."
"Jinglemoon, I understand that our stores are doing better, but I'd still like for an herb patrol to be taken out if you're agreeable to it," he nods to the blue-furred medicine cat "I'd like you to take Fishtongue, Ivytwist, and Peachtrot."

/ A sunningrocks patrol is nothing out of the ordinary for RiverClan, but it seems that with a sudden onslaught of extended rain that the river is flash flooding well onto the banks!

/ This patrol to SkyClan starts out fairly normal with just a few clouds, but when one of your patrolmates notices that the air has stilled, this normal patrol quickly comes under fire from a severe thunderstorm!

/ It's not raining (yay!) but it seems that all the recent rain combined with the high heat at the tail end of summer has created a nice humid veil over the territory. The river in particular is clouded with a high amount of fog.
