Cain is a member of the Riff-Raff--a gang of troublemakers who make it harder for the forest cats to live in peace. He is glued to his father's side, acting out whatever order he gives him along with Leroy's. One day, he makes his own way towards the Colony cats, with the intent to gather information for his father... when he meets someone that completely changes his world. He pursues this cat, questioning the worldviews and the way they live, yet yearning for a different kind of life for himself--one that he can see when he looks into the eyes of this cat.

As the Clans start to form, he desperately wants to join the cat he is so infatuated with, but his father's shadow looms over his every step. How can he escape his gaze? How can he flee from the miserable life he has and welcome the idea of a new one?

TLDR GUIDELINES SUBMISSION FORM

• This will be a romantic plot line for my sweet boy Cain (later known as Ravenmaw) and will be a huge bit of development for him. This will be a tale told in 3 arcs--one taking place as ShadowClan is born, one through forest cat/Riff-Raff conflict and the fall of the Riff-Raff, and then the final arc taking place as he joins ShadowClan to be with his mate (YC). There will be a lot of conflict, such as physical violence and verbal abuse from Cain's father, Abrum, inflicted upon YC, but that will be the extent of it. I plan for the plot to end with Cain becoming Ravenmaw and escaping his father, who will then hide in the shadows for a future plot.
  
  In all, this will be very extensive! I don't plan for the drama to stop just after this--I have a lot more planned for Cain and YC, but it all depends on how this plot will turn out. If you're looking for a long and ever-developing plotline to join, then this is the one for you.

  ♰ Gender does not matter! Cain swings all ways with his tail.
  ♰ Future kits are going to happen, regardless. It'll be really important to super plots, so if your character is down with surrogacy, then we're all good for the precious rule.
  ♰ Preference for someone fairly approachable and nice. Meaner or distant cats will kind of lose his interest after a while.

Name: Marbleshine

Age: 17 moons

Personality: Gentle, kind, curious and a bit adventurous, she can be a bit gullible and likes to believe the best in every cat, she's not quick to give up hope on something and tries to always shine her light bright.

Appearance: A blue point longhaired cat with blue eyes [ reference ]

Why would this character be a good fit for Cain?: I think her optimistic and goodhearted nature would be a fresh breath for Cain, and I think Cain's knowledge of life outside of the clans would intrigue her, she'd love to talk with him, and I can see her falling for him.

Name: Snowybug (Or Sunnybug, depending on what design I go with)

Age: 17 moons

Personality: Timid and, at first glance, seeming a nervous wreck- he's quick to try to pacify others, even if that makes him seem as small as possible. Nonverbal, communicating through little wordless noises, and generally just a sweetheart. The type to welcome his clanmates- or anyone he meets, really- with open arms and a complete lack of judgement. Too trusting for his own good as a result. A bit of a pushover, in that he can't (or won't) really set boundaries, and a pacifist in turn because of that. Despite this, he can be stubborn, unwilling to let someone do the same that he has (or worse), and has a sort of undying loyalty to those he cares about. Is also kind of petty in his on way and not above ""accidentally"" misplacing stuff or messing things up.

Appearance: Official genetics are TBA, but you can look at his design here (or, if I manage to get the character design again, here)! Either way, I'm heavily leaning towards a design that sort of contrasts Cain's would be cute! Aiming for the Daylark design first, but decided to link both for full transparency here.

Why would this character be a good fit for Cain?: I think both of them could change each other for the better in the long run. Bug's more caring nature will be a potential breath of fresh air for Cain, and I believe that his willingness to make friends (and maybe a bit of his free-spirited nature) could give Cain the sort of nudge he needs to join Bug in Shadowclan. On the other hand, I think Cain can be good for Bug in teaching him how to stand up for himself more, even if not with actual words, and give him some of the self esteem he'd so desperately need (maybe while working on his own)? The TLDR is that I love the idea of Bug teaching Cain that he's so much better and deserves so much better than what he thinks he does, while also being taught the same!

Anything Extra? (Optional): With the potentials of powers tonight, depending on what they are, I think it could be potentially fun to have one that ties the two of them together before they even know about it! Not only would they have the main plot drama, but also the extra storyline of trying to figure out what this means for each other and what they're supposed to do about it! The alternative is Bug maybe having empathy / similar if there's something later on, and that being his way of communicating just how good he thinks Cain is.
