[ interacting with @Honeyflower @Branchkit @HONEYCOMBKIT @bunnykit @Swiftwatcher and @Cricketpaw (ohmygod) ]

Lotuskit allows herself to go deaf to the cheers of relief that sound around her. Honeyflower scoops her and her tabby sibling into a warm embrace, and in these few moments where the two of them are nosed about, Lotuskit scents something different deep beneath her mother's breath. It's... ailing, and uncomfortable. Her jaw tenses as she looks warily to the calico before noting that Bunnykit, too, wears the same exhausting scent. Her maw opens to ask about them, but the caretaker is called away for her official duties. Again, Lotuskit leans her weight onto another (frankly, any of her siblings who let her,) and watches dazed as her mother leaves, but the scent remains just as strong.

Swiftwatcher's tail curls around them protectively, and she turns towards her grandfather, offering the dark furred tom a slight smile. The ache in her head returns with the compounding smells in the area, all waterlogged, some metallic, some muddy, and she takes the opportunity to twist and bury her face in the tom's pelt. Cricketpaw finds them with the same joy as everyone else, but the older tortoiseshell notices the way she favors her paw. Lotuskit twists out of the safety of Swiftwatcher's shadowed fur to look at her paw and blinks. She... she...

"I hurt it," she mumbles, though not unkind, to Cricketpaw. How, she can't say. Lotuskit cringes back into Swiftwatcher's embrace, offering another, quieter, "I hurt it."

He watches as squealing kits get reunited with their parents, mates greeting each other, and apprentices bumping into each other. Sobs are thrown in the air as the pale apprentice scans the crowd. Looking. Whisperpaw spots his father's frantic pacing, their coat messy and their ears lowered to their skull. He swallows as he starts to go straight towards Snowfeather, his plumed tail twitching.

Brows knitted together in worry, he finally reached them. He shoves his face into their pelt with a soft mumble. Chills wracked its frame, even if it feels warm currently. Whisperpaw turns its face towards its clanmates, spotting the council… err, important council stuff.

The voice of Dustystar carries across the camp, speaking of herbs and a long list of tasks that lie before the clan. It allows itself to settle onto its haunches, a huff leaving it as it watches the rest of its clanmates mingle and reunite with one another. The tunneler apprentice allows itself to catch its breath, leaning its weight on its parent. It tilts its head to the side; perhaps it could help its clanmates gather whatever they needed at the moment. It hums.

Goldenroar feels some level of pride that he was able to ferry those in his direct care back to this temporary camp that Dustystar had declared the safest. Meadowpaw had kept them safe, healthy, mending any wounds or aches that she could. He was still concerned about Fogstare, for sure. For her work, he was endlessly grateful, even if he hadn't mentioned it to her aloud. He quietly wondered on the trek over if he should have. The instant they arrived, his eyes are searching camp for a number of cats, looking for who was here and who wasn't. Who was all put together and who was ill.

Rubblekit finds him before his brother is found, and his eyes drop down to her in a moment of bewilderment. She's crying, and something defrosts inside of him, cracks like the thaw was coming. Not that he was ever cold, but that part of him... he preferred it in a statis. Goldenroar swallowed gently, lowering his head down to press his nose to her head. "Hey, hey, easy now. I'm alright- are you okay? No injuries?" He questions, keeping his voice quiet. He listens for a moment, then urges Rubblekit to move with him. There were things to be done.

From across camp, his eyes spot Roostertuft- and his vision tightens and his stomach churns, but he's at least safe. He knows that the tom will keep those in his reach safe, too, and for that he's silently relieved. Aqua eyes are torn away, looking for Sunny and her nature amongst the crowd before coming to a stop next to Dustystar. "Be quiet, okay?" He asks Rubblekit, before looking up at the council's ragged circle. Goldenroar silently searches Merrystalk for a long, long moment, and deciding that he was well enough for the council 'meeting', he looks towards the situation at paw. Weaselchirp chimes in at the conversation, and while he doesn't enjoy the idea of asking for help, it seems the most logical right now.

"Right. Seems we got a lot to take care of, yeah? Weaselchirp- if you need paws dedicated to the tunnel Dimmingsun asked for, let me know and I can shoot them your direction." Goldenroar states, then paused- "Cave? You think it isn't flooded?" Goldenroar questions with lifted brows. Her final, little statement caused a chuckle from him. It would be alright. He liked that.

A sigh of relief, the worst of the chaos had seemingly subsided. Cometpaw moved along with the group from the fallen monster into the area where Windclan had now found itself. The four winds once more converging, as it should be. Seeing reunion after reunion gave Cometpaw more hope than before. He saw a bunch of familiar faces in the crowd already, this was a good sign! Seeing Cricketpaw's mood immediately improve upon the sight of Meadowpaw was massively reassuring too. To Cometpaw, this was enough, enough to not worry himself to the bone, now he could seek out his brother and the others he had helped along the way.

Eclipsepaw's silhouette and pelt were unmistakable of course, with Competpaw easily spotting him from a distance. Weaving around a few cats and other obstacles, Cometpaw popped up at Eclipsepaw's side with little warning. "Hey you." He playfully nudged Eclipsepaw with a free arm. "Now you can start getting dry for the first time in a while as we rebuild, eh?" Cometpaw snorted. "Anyway, have you seen Hootkit, Finchkit, Owlbear?"

Giving Eclipsepaw some room to think, Cometpaw listened in on the wider meeting discussion up until the mention of Shadowclan. He looked over to his brother with an expression that was... Not common for Cometpaw- one of total disinterest, maybe even a hint of annoyance, betrayal even? But he voiced nothing, he had come a long way from the young one that just spoke everything that crossed his mind. "I got a better idea-" he whispered to Eclipsepaw. "- I'm sure you know what I mean. You in?" If it was kin that could be sought to ask for help, Competpaw had kin of his own to trust, those with far more experience in working around water.

Long hair Amber 'blue' molly with flame point / short hair cream tabby chimera with golden eyes
Daughter of HOOT, Sibling of OWLBEAR
Super chill and a good listener, tends to look on the bright side wherever possible (maybe even a bit too much), almost always gives other cats silly nicknames so... Prepare yourself

Chickenscratch had a lot to think about as she made sure as many of the cats here were as comfortable as they could be while searching for her own close friends and kin. One paw in front of the other. Progress. An adventure to something new, something hopefully better than before. Even against tragedy, against disaster, the cats here persisted. There was something to be said for the 'Windclan spirit'.

In a way, this group of cats, for all their virtues and flaws, embodied something greater together- to Chickenscratch it truly felt like something strong, something free. So, she would continue to be as she always had been, a helping paw where there wasn't one, a good listener and provider of wisdom in honor of her father Hoot.

Passing by the talks of patrolling and rebuilding, Chickenscratch noticed Weaselchirp also offer assistance. The two were so oddly alike yet completely different weren't they? "Well if'n you're going hunting again, I suppose I'm goin' with ya again!" She offered. "I suppose we could see about bringin' anythin' of worth from the few places we found out there too? Most anythin' can work for shelter if we're clever enough- and I know we for sure are a clever bunch! I'll see what I can get done once I've made sure my sister n' nieces are all safe n' sound."

HE/THEY
11 MOONS
DINGO

He had come back alongside the rest of the group who had ended up near the highstones, which had been quite the experience to say the least. He had always wanted to go to highstones but had never suspected the way he would, would end up how it had. At least now things seemed to be settling enough for the clan to reunite. After he and Comet had gotten Hootkit and Finchkit out of the nursery when it had flooded they had been separated, both from each other and the two nest kits whom they had encouraged to follow the deputy to safety. Being at the Highstones camp was the first time he'd been without any of his kin and though he fount Comet's optimism and energy annoying at times, he could say with confidence now that things were a lot more boring without him around.

Without warning his brother popped up at his side and nudged him in the side, Eclipse's fur puffed a little at being startled but his relief to see Comet again overthrew any initial annoyed reaction he would've otherwise given. "Ah, there you are" He'd huff indignantly when his brother snorted about him finally being able to get dry now, "Well I'm not a RiverClan cat, I didn't sign up for things to be this wet!" He'd scrunch up his nose and shake his head before blinking slowly at his brother when asked if he'd seen the nest family members, "No, I thought maybe they were with you" His dual coloured eyes flickered across the crowd of cats around them before adding, "They're a clever bunch though, I'm sure we'll spot them soon."

Comet's expression when listening in on the clan's wider discussion as a whole made Eclipse's eyes narrow slightly, it wasn't a common expression to be found on his brother's face and he found himself in agreement with said expression as well. He highly doubted they would receive much help from ShadowClan, if any at all. RiverClan with their bleeding heart of an Uncle though... His long tufted ears twitched when he caught Cometpaw's whisper, his brother was already thinking what he had in mind too. "Count me in" He'd whisper back without so much of a moment's notice. If anyone knew their way around water and water damage, it would be RiverClan and he trusted his own kin to help more than others he knew very little about.

HOOTKIT

WINDCLAN
KIT
SHE/THEY
06 MOONS
DINGO

At long last the clan was all back together again! Hootkit raced alongside her sister Finchkit as their group from the cornfield camp reunited with the other temporary camp groups. She'd gently bump into Finchy's side before pointing out with her nose the two apprentices' who had pulled them out of the nursery when it had flooded. Looks like they had been alright in the end afterall! They had just ended up in different temporary camps to the two fledglings. Hootkit had been in a bit of a daze when they had rescued them and worried about their mama getting out safely too that she hadn't had much time to thank the pair so after bumping her forehead gently against Finchkit's shoulder, she'd hobble over to the two on her paws that still felt larger then the rest of her.

"Cometpaw!!" She hooted happily almost bowling into the dark coated apprentice as she skidded to a halt just before him and his brother. "You're okay!!" She was basically apprenticed aged herself now but despite that, the pair of brothers were still much taller and she was able to still somewhat run around their longer legs. Would they be warriors soon? Aw man, did that mean they wouldn't get to train together? At least she'd get to train with Finchy no matter what! "I wanna say thank you for savin' me an' Finchy back at the nursery, you were both really brave!" The rest of the chatter of the other cats that she was certain was quite important clan business in setting them back on track after all this weather, it just became a sort of buzz in her ears.

For the moment she was just glad to be back home and back with her family and Clanmates.

We are the fire, we see how they run

Harefoot stays firmly at Merrystalk's side the whole walk there. He's not worried, not exactly— he knows how strong Merry is. He has no doubt he'll heal physically. But he seemed pained in some other way, some way that Harefoot can't quite place. He never was very good with emotions. He hardly knew what his own were without Merry there to reflect them back on him, like a mirror. When Merry says a quick goodbye, he lets him go, watching his back with a certain sense of melancholy.

He hears many things, too many, but something stands out; something about tunnels. That he could do. He tracks down the source, one way or another finding his way right back to Merry's side. He nods to the council in greeting.

"I can help dig," he says, looking at @Weaselchirp . "We will make room. For the kits too."

Phantomkit
status: Numb
She hasn't been the same since the night of the flood. Silent. Watching. She hasn't spoken unless spoken to. Her sister is missing, maybe dead, why should she speak? She's watching the ground with her tailed curled tight around her, her face sat into a grim determination, when she hears a voice. A familiar voice. She glances up as Yewkit speaks, glances to her mother as Plague speaks. She watches the interaction, the scolding, the grounding, all out of the corner of her eye. A shudder racks through her body.

Phantom finally turns away as apologies and reasons fall from Yewkit's mouth. She still does not speak. Her gaze falls back to the ground and she curls her tail tighter to her body. Her shoulders scrunch up to her ears and her head lowers down. She wishes the bad things had never happened. Wishes she had never had reason to think her sister dead and gone. Wishes things hadn't happened to upset Plague. She wishes a lot of things. None of them ever come true. She lowers herself to the ground and becomes a trembling ball where she once sat. She doesn't want to be here anymore. Wants to go home. Where ever home might be.

Cause I'm more than what my mum told me to be
