Despite being an outlier in the Pocosin, Marrow's white fur had it's benefits in winter. She blended in almost perfectly with the snow, long white fur almost entirely obscured by the blanket of cold flakes that patterned the ground. She kept low, sneaking forward. Her past as a rogue made it an easy choice to become a thief once she entered Shadowclan, and with the clan hungry, she had to do something. Thunderclan seemed like the obvious target, with Marrow having her own vendetta against them. The prior relationship between Loonstar and Sablestar reminded her of herself and Cherub with a certain bitterness that made bile threaten to rise in her chest. Thus, her heart was set, belly against the cold snow.
She rose for a few moments around the Thunderpath, ears darting upright to listen for the sound of the monsters. The winter brought its own disgusting haze that made it even harder to see their glowing eyes, but their growls were always the loudest as they drew closer --- as if hunting their prey. She darted across when the coast was clear, ears listening for the sound of Thunderclan. The coast seemed clear, though her nose scrunched slightly in the cold, finding it difficult to smell anything. She dropped back towards the ground, belly pressed against the Earth as she slunk forward, blue eyes looking around.
Thunderclan was mysterious to her, outside of knowing about the history between them and the clan she was now calling her home. She crept forward, trying to taste the air for prey, but only feeling the familiar bitterness of winter air on her tongue. She grimaces slightly, keeping low to the ground as she attempts to spot prey.
There
Her eyes dart to a squirrel, plump. She slowly begins stalking forward, any doubt that she just stumbled onto the territory by accident turning to the wayside as she pads further into clear Thunderclan territory.
