Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.

✧ Cricketkit is a small, thick-furred she-cat with a unique blend of colors that makes her look as if she's been brushed by firelight and shadow. Her pelt is a soft mix of pale golden cream and muted gray tabby markings, merging together like smoke and sunlight. A pale blaze runs down her nose, framed by delicate white fur around her muzzle and chest, giving her a perpetually solemn, thoughtful look.
Her most striking feature is her bright teal eye, vivid and sharp, set beneath a dark brow that always seems to be slightly furrowed in concentration or suspicion. The left side of her face, however, bears the mark of tragedy, a series of deep, scars stretch across her closed left eye, leaving the lid permanently shut. The fur there is patchy, the skin beneath a rough pink, a stark contrast to the fluffiness of the rest of her coat.
Despite her small size and soft features, Cricketkit carries herself with surprising gravity. She walks cautiously, often tilting her head just so, compensating for her limited vision. Her ears are tall and alert, always swiveling to catch pieces of conversation she wasn't invited into. Her bushy tail is often curled neatly around her paws, especially when sitting to guard her little hoard of shiny objects tucked away in the nursery.

✧Cricketkit is a small, one-eyed kit with a sharp mind and a sharper tongue. Scarred, physically and emotionally by the fire that stole her parents and her left eye, she is still learning how to navigate the world anew. Though young, her gaze carries an intensity beyond her moons, and her words, often brutally honest cut through pleasantries with disarming clarity.
Driven by a strange hope, Cricketkit obsessively collects shiny things: beetle shells, feathers, dewdrops, bits of glass. She believes, in a half-childish, half-desperate way, that if she gathers enough light, it might keep the darkness away, both the kind outside and the kind inside.
She is deeply curious and often toddles after older cats, mimicking their movements, asking sharp questions, and watching everything with quiet intensity. Adaptation is her daily battle: learning to live with one eye, learning to live without her family, learning to be strong in ways that matter.
Despite her injuries, Cricketkit isn't fragile. She's fire-forged, small, scarred, and stubborn. She remembers pain, she holds grudges (especially against the fire), and she never forgets a kindness. She's not trying to be brave; she just is, because there's no other choice.

✧ Born in a quiet barn on the edge of a forest, Cricketkit's early life was warm and peaceful. When a fire took out the barn in the dead of night, she was completely wrecked. The fire didn't only take her sight in one eye, but also took away her parents and sister. It left her with a severe injury across her left eye. She is trying to put on a brave face and work hard to become a member of WindClan, though she's scared that due to her eye injury she might not get the chance to do so. However, seeing other hurt cats becoming warriors and apprentices give her hope.
