For as much as he preferred to stay at Faithkit's side, Thornkit couldn't deny his innate need to move — move more than just pace around the space of the medicine cat's den, more than just fidgeting with his claws, tail, and ears. It would, he reasoned, also do him some good to get to know the layout of the ThunderClan camp, so after making Falsekit promise to come and fetch him should their sister so much as sneeze, Thornkit had brushed through the entrance of the medicine cat's den and begun to slink around the perimeter of the camp.

Fawnkit had told him that so long as they had that dastardly -kit tag on their name, they weren't allowed to leave the camp. While Thornkit despised that rule and would undoubtedly try pushing back against it eventually, he wasn't going to do so at this moment. For now, he settled for lurking and watching from the far corners, snaking around dens and landmarks as he surveyed the area. He paused as he approached the nursery, eye catching on a puddle not far from its entrance, and he wandered over to peer into the shallow water.

A dark face stared back up at him, fluffy and young around the edges, with piercing green eyes contrasting sharply. A critical frown was present on the reflection's features, and the tangible Thornkit pulled it up into a snarky smile. He'd never really taken the time to look at himself before; he wasn't sure what he had expected. He knew he was dark-furred, vastly different from Falsekit and Faithkit's pale pelts. He still shared some markings with his sister, but… here, in this new place, would anyone have known he and those two were siblings, if Serpentberry hadn't told them as much?

The reflection's expression dipped into something sadder, and then disappeared into ripples as the ground shifted under the weight of someone else approaching. Thornkit's head short up, a scowl now pulling at his lips, and it didn't lessen any at the sight of a kit he hadn't met yet coming near him. Was this another Fawnkit, coming to question him about things that were none of their business?

"Who are you?" Thornkit demanded harshly, narrowing his eyes as he appraised the newcomer.

Normally he stayed within the shaded safety of his mother's den, nestled against a flank or most often these days with her curled so tightly around him one could only see his head poking out from the sea of brown. But the other kits were not in Juniperstar's den. No, they were all hidden away in the nursery more often than not.

That was where he intended to go now with a mossball tightly clamped between his tiny teeth, his friend Fawnkit was there. He assumed the kits Serpentberry had found were also there and he wanted to say hi. Maybe he could convince them- Oh.

A kit he'd never seen before sat near the nursery, frowning into a puddle. This must be one of the kits Serpent had found... Bounding forward, Hollykit stopped rather suddenly at the glare fixated on him from the other kit.

Who are you?

Carefully, as if it was some precious treasure, the mossball is placed between his own paws. "I'm Hollykit," He chirps out, rolling the mossball under a paw. "Do you wanna play mossball with me..? I can teach you."

HOLLYKIT

✦—"SPEECH", 'THOUGHTS', ATTACK
✦—A thin and lanky blue-eyed, sepia tom who looks like he could be blown over by a faint breeze

Falsekit had little clue of how they appeared to others, aside from glances stolen from dirt-smudged paws and riffle-furred tail. In the wild, the child hadn't any reason to ponder their own existence, and behold themselves as an object existing within an external setpiece rather than behave as a product of their innate environment. But now, without the threat of death looming immediately above their dainty head... Curiosity of the world around him, and its faithful bounds, captivated the juvenile. Following after Hollykit, the fawn tortoiseshell kitten allowed their inquisitive nose to guide them to the puddle, as though it were mired by the presence of their brother. And if Thornkit laid his damned hands on something, then so must Falsekit. Wherever Thornkit ventured, Falsekit had to make sure that she was two steps further. Departing from Hollykit, they figured that Thornkit could keep him frivolous company. Right now, something else drove them to intense perusal. A pallid-furred child stared back at him, as if bathed in mud and soil, a hollow depiction of the one born with the hollow heart. Well-groomed and wanted... Had they always looked like that? They felt cleaner in Thunderclan, less of a lesser product and more of a separate object. "Hm..." Falsekit hummed quietly, enraptured by the silhouette that followed his every twitch and breath.

—— A shorthaired fawn tortoiseshell with medium-high white and greyish-blue eyes. Walks with a confident, almost unassuming posture. Talks with a calm and collected voice, and one much too mature for their age.
—— Outwardly, Falsekit is an affable and polite cat with natural charisma. Within the controlled walls of their own making, they are a skeptical and nihilistic soul, often going about in life in accordance to their own morbid curiosity.

Webpaw couldn't get in much more trouble if she stayed in camp for now, she figured. While she still wasn't certain how Juniperstar and Owlbark planned on making her into an example for the rest, she knew it was coming.

Ugh, stupid. If only those other warriors hadn't shown up, she'd have been in the clear!

Now, instead, she sat in the camp, watching as the kits played around with each other, her ears pricking at their conversation. Thornkit didn't know his own denmates? Weird.

She padded over to the kits and wrapped her tail around her paws as she sat.

"I can toss the mossball for you all," she offered. "If you all wanna race to see who can catch it fastest."
