Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.
☆ The Riverclan territory is… wet. Muddy. More muddy than anywhere Rowanpaw's ever been. She's already dreading having to groom the dried mud out of her fur. She sighs, shuffling her paws slightly, keeping her tail curled and held high, careful not to get it dirty. Swallowpaw is beside her, both of them waiting. There's a brief glimpse of something, an imagined future– her and Swallowpaw, lazing in the sun, sharing tongues and grooming the dirt out of each other's fur. Heat rises in her face and she quickly looks away from the other molly.
Where was Jinglemoon…? Just how far is the Riverclan camp from their border? Then, suddenly, a rustle in the undergrowth– a cat, who must be Jinglemoon, appears along with a younger cat. His apprentice, perhaps? Rowanpaw shoots Swallowpaw a nervous look, then looks back at Jinglemoon, dipping her head in greeting.
"Thank you for coming to see us, Jinglemoon…" Rowanpaw says, speaking in a hushed tone despite the lack of audience. "I– we– we have a proposition, something we'd like to ask you… it's…" she swallows.
This is not any easier the second time, it seems. She shakes her head, her fur, trying to gather her courage.
"We think it would be a good idea for us medicine cat's to meet, to share knowledge and… and learn from each other… All the medicine cat's except for Swallowpaw are completely new to this, to our belief in starclan, so… we think it could be helpful, that it could help us save more cats. I… I have seen too much bloodshed… I don't want to see any more meaningless death. Us medicine cat's, we should… we should help cats, right? Not hurt them?" she waivers slightly, thinking of her mother, of poison and blood. But she shakes it off, tries to at least– her mother still heals, she's still… She's her mother.
"Of course, uhm, it's up to you. Our plan was for us to meet every half moon and go to the tall stones, where we can connect with starclan… so… if you need to think about it, that's uhm– that's okay too."
