APPEARANCE Dusty is a tall, lanky tom who always seems to have a grin on his face. He has a kinked tail, and while he's overall short-furred he has a few places where his fur lengthens, as well as a dorsal mane of white fur. The main areas where his fur is fluffier are on his chest, hips, cheeks, elbows, and at the base of his tail. Of note, his pawpads and inner ears are a soft pink, while his nose skin is dark grey. His eyes are a strikingly bright blue, and are framed by patches of grey. He has a cream colored stripe on his face, and matching ones on his neck and rump. The stripes on his legs and tail are a broken mackerel pattern.

PERSONALITY Dusty is many things, but a smart man is not one of them. Overall a cheerful and fun cat to be around what with his wit and charm, he can be a lot to deal with. He thinks quite highly of himself, and can be rather set in his ways. For as entertaining as he can be, he can be grating and annoying if his sense of humor doesn't mesh well with his audience's. Still, despite his flaws he's known to be observant, catching on to what needs to be done and jumping in to do it if he can.

That being said, there are many, many other facets to his personality, and he doesn't like to define himself in so few words. Dusty prefers to be true to himself, and meet others where they are. Whether they like him or not is their issue, not his.

Let's give this clan thing a try

HISTORY Born to two colony cats as a singleton, Dusty lived the good life in his kithood. Doting parents, a place to call home, all the bells and whistles a kid could ask for. It was nice, idyllic, and utterly boring. He constantly got into trouble and was scolded for sneaking off, getting himself into dangerous situations, and otherwise being a tiny menace. As soon as he was old enough, he bailed on his parents, and spent his time exploring the surrounding world. From the river to the pines and even up and along the way towards what would become Highstones, Dusty roamed for the sake of roaming. He had no goal in mind, except for seeing the world and meeting other cats. And so went the first nearly three years of his life.

It wasn't so much that he grew tired of roaming, as it was he missed his parents that caused Dusty to return home to the colonies around the time he'd been born. With Leaf Fall approaching, he hoped to see his parents again, and catch up on how life had been. Much to his surprise and disappointment, they were not there when he returned. Still, undaunted and looking for a place to settle down a bit, he integrated into colony life quickly, having already known the ropes from his kithood.

When the colony imploded, Dusty chose to stay away from Sable, and stick with Hawthorne. In the battle, he managed to avoid any real injuries by sheer luck. When Coffeestar appeared he was, for likely the first time in his life, struck silent. Still, he chose to follow Hawthorne and celebrate the honor that had been given to Juniper. Settling down had never been his goal, but working together with others for the betterment of them all? Well, he'd be a fool to pass that up. Despite the hardships, he's in for the long-haul with ThunderClan.

  In battles, Dustrunner excels at dodging, but is poor at enduring blows. His dexterous and quick paws, as well as his impressive stamina and endurance are good at keeping him away from the fangs and claws of his enemies. However, his offensive and defensive capabilities leave a lot to be desired, and when he's hit, he takes it hard. He's built solely for speed, aiming to outrun, outsmart, and outmaneuver his foes while avoiding taking hits himself. While conflict may not be his strong suit, he can hold his own, if push comes to shove.
  
  Dustrunner is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, specifically as Nero [DMC4]. He often smells like damp earth after rain, and moss.
  Character speech is Aquamarine. Peaceful powerplay allowed.

• Dustrunner was born to Melody and Swift and is a first generation ThunderClanner. He has no siblings. He misses his parents, and wonders what became of them. He was never close to them, but appreciates all they did for him and loves them in his own way.
