Broken from the same colony as ThunderClan, ShadowClan's path has been draped in darkness from the beginning. Sablestar's ambition lead to the divide, his own teeth ended the life of ThunderClan's first leader and StarClan's chosen. Of the clans they have struggled the most through their own faults, they openly accept those who are capable of adding to their numbers and reject the stars for seemingly abandoning them, unaware they never had a chance to reach out before the Dark Forest sunk its claws into the hearts of its leaders. Only time will tell if ShadowClan can break away from this shadow, if its name can mean more than a reflection of its former glory.

Sablestar is known for his shameless greed at the forefront of his reputation, always seen wanting more. More land, more prey, more warriors, more loyalty; it's easy to see him as an insatiable leader. He is a hard tom to satisfy, but it is not impossible to find him as your ally. Sablestar values loyalty to him above all else, but he isn't a stickler to those who question the ways of life as he had.

SABLESTAR

"I know a lot of folk in different corners."

​	ShadowClan no longer holds their breath over lost sleep and suspicious coincidences as they enter the newleafs prime with heavy rains. As we enter a new event, Stars Align ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗, ShadowClan is confronted with the information that Juniperstar is not the sole champion of the star-blessed.

​	ShadowClan does not yet gather beneath the full moon.

Fleapaw and her gaggle of apprentice friends stir some fun at the Thunderpath while a ThunderClan patrol passes by, watching them dig through abandoned twoleg items.

Concerned for his kin, Sablestar entrusts Wolfpack to protect ShadowClan while he and his Clanmates investigate the aftermath of the barn fire. They are quickly intercepted by the newly established WindClan.

On a mission to retrieve moss not so rain-sodden, a ShadowClan patrol takes a trek through Fourtrees and meet a RiverClan patrol warning them not to step closer.

"I will not accept these ghost tales for cause on lost prey..."

​	ShadowClan navigates through the recent paranormal disturbance with caution, falling into a steady routine of patrols and providing protection to their lands. The haunting rears its ugly head, not even Sablestar can ignore, and the Clan learns a valuable lesson on respecting the dead.

​	ShadowClan does not yet gather beneath the full moon.

The wayward children from the prior moon are given their official ranks as apprentices in the next meeting. He disregards the report of hauntings, uninterested in investigating any further.
Lost is named Lostpaw, mentored by Mothbite
Tick is named Tickpaw, mentored by Mirepurr
Vulture is named Vulturepaw, mentored by Wolfpack
Stoatkit is named Stoatpaw, mentored by Sablestar
Magpiekit is apprenticed three moons early to Cicadabuzz- ShadowClan's new medicine cat apprentice.

Possumgrin gets caught trying to avoid his responsibilities

Sablestar makes a sudden appearance on ThunderClan territory without warning, accompanied by his two sons.

ShadowClan's Haunting Event
ShadowClan is promptly disturbed after the meeting with a treacherous nightmare shared between several Clanmates. With haste, Sablestar demands the Clan return to the gravesite and put the spirits to rest with proper respect.
A new tradition is announced- ShadowClan will have a proper graveyard for it's Clan to honor the dead.

FEBRUARY 2025

"ShadowClan may live in the dark, but we are not swallowed by it."

The ShadowClanners from the thunderpath return after the the skirmish with Sablestar proclaiming it a victory. Irritated at Fleakit causing problem the leader makes her an apprentice early since she continues to leave the camp anyways. The return patrol discuss the tension of Sablestar's mate now being revealed as ThunderClan's (as the other group are now called) leader.

Sablestar begins the mentor program, assigning apprentices to warriors for training and pairing several of them shortly after he adds to his own ranks.
Wolfpack is made Deputy of ShadowClan during the meeting.
Possumgrin, Smogmaw, and Mothbite are also promoted to a rank called Night Guards during the meeting.

Fleapaw makes an enemy of Cicadabuzz when she delivers frogs to their den and the amphibians get into and ruin their herb stocks. She is ordered to replace all of them.
Fleapaw gets to work immediately.

A young cat named Tick joins ShadowClan seeking his sister Fleapaw.
Geckoflame adopts a young cat named Web (Webpaw)
Timberfrost also finds a lost kit at the foot of the monster tree and names him Monsterkit.
Another former kitten mill victim named Lost joins after being abandoned by her group.
A young cat named Leech arrives shaken to the territory and is renamed Vulturekit.
Sablestar arrives with two of his kits, having brought Magpiekit & Dreamkit to live in ShadowClan alongside him.
Shadowclan seems to attract many lost souls, the moon ending with a tom named Snake (to be Snakepaw) arriving injured.


ShadowClan's Haunting Event
A strange fog rolls into the territory during a patrol, there is something unsettling in the air.
Several - instances - of - strange - haunting - begin - to plague - the clan.
Smogmaw and a patrol of cats uncover what appears to be an ancient graveyard in their territory.

Magpiekit expresses interest in the herbs Cicadabuzz works with. The Medicine Cat asks Sablestar's permission to train his son, the leader agrees with the demand Magpiekit not be involved with the Dark Forest.

"Your star guide isn't the only secret in these woods. -- she told me what had to be done for the good of the forest, so I did."

Shadowclan is beginning to settle into clan life, and adapting to the marshy land they now call home. Most cats have been given their warrior names by Sablestar, but no Deputy has been chosen, and no Mentor/Apprentice system has been put in place. Many cats are still upset at being chased out of the better hunting grounds of Fourtrees, and several are skeptical of Sablestar's leadership.

Cats are given Warrior Names across the course of several weeks
Wolfpack and a group of other cats discover a Dead Monster stuck in a tree.
A sinkhole opens beneath Smogmaw while hunting, but he's rescued.

The Kittypet Joseph is found on the outskirts of the territory, and brought back to camp by Mothbite.

Sablestar attempts to visit his pregnant mate only to be stopped by his brother Graybird who chases him off after injuring him, he goes to Cicadabuzz lamenting.
A Group of cats have unwittingly gone into territory claimed by Thunderclan looking for food, lead Jadethorn, and a fight breaks out.

"They may have won this battle, but this war has just begun."

Sable leads his followers to a safe keeping at the edge of a pocosin sat between two thunderpaths Sable is visited by a shrouded spirit who informs him of the starlike meddling that foiled his original plan. Sable brings his two most trusted followers, half-brother shade and friend dunny, to finish killing hawthorne. they discover juniper is with him but let her flee Sable recieves his nine lives, and shares with his supporters the new lives he will lead them to as their champion.

A stranger by the name of Timber appeared, a recent resident of the area along with his daughter, Stoat.

Cicada receives a visit from Fleecefur of their new purpose in ShadowClan, naming them Cicadabuzz, the clans medicine cat.
Needle wakens from her coma.

Ember gives birth to two kittens, Lightkit & Nightkit

An exploring patrol comes across a spitfire kit, dubbing her Fleakit.
