PRE-CLAN SITE HISTORY
THE COLONY INFORMATION
Set in an alternate universe where the clans failed to escape the forest territory being destroyed and all perished, the land has finally recovered from the destruction and trees are once more regrowing. Why the twolegs did this and left the area untouched is anyone's guess but cats have begun to return to the heart of the wood and have even formed a colony, but with dwindling resources and infighting beginning to weight down upon them. It has been five years since the colony formed and they are feeling the strain now of having several mouths to feed and cats constantly bickering over decisions and organization. Fray, the current leader, has been sick in his den (a hollow dug out behind the large stones before the great tree) and his son Hawthorne has taken to trying to calm the chaos in his wake.
The cats of the colony come from many types of backgrounds ranging from kittypets, loners, barncats, ship cats, abandoned kittens, wounded travelers brought in etc...as such they have a variety of names and backstories! Their knowledge of the clans, if any, are mostly vague stories from kittypets about the wildcats in the forest who ate other cats or tales from loners who knew roughly about the clan naming conventions and structures but no cat is aware of StarClan.
The calm before the storm....
- Shaken by Fray's death, Thunder leaves quickly and Ghost goes to comfort him.
- A cat named Coffeestar descends in the night to warn Hawthorne of Sable's treachery, he doesn't intend to fight fair and plans to jump the other tom with a large group and kill him before dawn.
- With this warning in mind Hawthorne quickly wakes the other colony cats to prepare for battle just as Sable and his followers attack.

He chooses to make Juniper his deputy before they head out.
- The newly named ThunderClan arrive in their new territory while Sable's followers also find themselves following him into the marshland.
SkyClan's Journey Begins
The names of past leaders and medicine cats was forgotten after an illness killed many of the older generation and SkyClan went through a long term of having only a small handful of cats that weren't Daylight Warriors but eventually they found stability until a plague of rats returned to their territory and began to cause illness and spread their disease. Coffeestar, the previous leader, died quietly of old age and her new deputy Hawkstar rose up to take her place.
The previous medicine cat Meadowlark eventually retired and opted to return to their twolegs to live out the rest of their days as well, leaving behind an apprentice named Tigerpaw who was granted a full name.
Choosing to lead her clan to the forest territories rather than stay and fight a losing battle, Hawkstar along with her newly promoted deputy Flowercloud begin preparations. Their newly named medicine cat Tigerfoot takes on an apprentice as well, choosing Swallowpaw to aid him as they begin this long journey to a new home.
The Abandoned Shipyard [Denoted by The Shipyard Thread Prefix]
A fair distance away from the forest colony, a day or more worth of traveling, is an abandoned set of old docks that was once a thriving fishing market but has since been left behind along with the shipcats who once worked upon the vessels coming to and fro. The ships cats struggle in their derelict dock, left to fend for themselves without a steady supply of fish coming in and being forced to adapt to the water themselves; becoming strong swimmers and fishers but they can only sustain this life style for so long before eventually they must move inland to find a new home and better food source...
- (This group of cats will eventually move inland to form RiverClan.)
The Farm [Denoted by The Farm Thread Prefix]
Cats living on a twoleg farm close to the forest territories and aware enough of the colony and nearby groups of cats, they keep to themselves happily full of mice from catching them in the barn and are sheltered there comfortably. The barn cats have no paw in the wild cats struggles nor altercations and for the time being are merely observers...
- (This group of cats will eventually move to the moorland to form WindClan after a fire destroys their barn.)
