Hello and welcome to Purrgatory! We are an 18+ Warrior Cat Roleplay set in an AU where the clans were unable to leave the forest territories and perished!
It has been 100 or more years since then, the clans of the forest are but distant memories to any cats still alive, stories passed down to kits of strangely named wild warriors and leaders with nine lives but the time of the clans is upon us once more and the stars shine yet again.
It stung his heart it did. No matter how much time had passed since he was pulled by the young tom. He was well aware that what he had asked of them was not easy, but he'd expected them to be a little more patient. However, he supposes that they did give it some thought considering they didn't leap at the chance to deny it. I should be happy for that, but still... I would have thought that maybe he would've asked instead.
Did he try? Try and stop them? No. He couldn't force them to change their mind, so he merely nodded and gave them the freedom they desired. Foxtail had done enough. Nevertheless, he would miss seeing them in their ranks. The last council meeting he couldn't help but look in longing for what was. I've been relying too much on Frostmoth these says. He's... He's been doing a wonderful job. I think its time I get myself in order. Yeah. No cool leader should be out of this long.
And so the silver tabby would take his place on the meeting perch. Some have decided to stop their routine and gather, while others continued on about their day. He would take no offence. It wasn't like he told them yet he'd like for them to hear him out. He is grateful for those who have automatically done so, a gentle smile sent their way. The tom clears his throat before bellowing,

I only want to talk about Foxtail today, nothing else. Green eyes watch as the number of cats have increased, settling into place."Foxtail has decided to step away from the council."
Oof. Does that sound like I'm judging him? Uhhhh WE CAN SAVE THIS!!! "A-and I have honored his request! I am grateful for his time spent in the council, and I know he will continue to be a dedicated member of Riverclan. I am sure of it."
The idea of the other council members, specifically Russetfall giving him a raised brow for his fumble was not out of the question. In fact, he refused to look at any of his council members. I can't handle Adderfang lecturing me later...A smile curls from his maw.
"I am happy to see where Foxtail's journey will take him next, and I ask all of you to give him a nice pat on the back for his time spent in Riverclan's council. This is all for today. The meeting is dismissed. Just don't forget to give a nice pat on the back! To thank him for his time."
