PEATGRASS, A Shadowclan Legacy

Roaming the pocosin for moons longer than even the existence of the colony, Pete was known as the miser patriarch of his ever-growing family unit. For his strict teachings and harsh words, he always made sure his clowder was well taken care of, his kits and grandkits fed, sheltered and loved. For his snapping remarks and high expectations, it is a family of love and, above all else, trust. Any cat seen mistreating mates or kits were cast from the pocosin by the grizzled tom himself, battle-scarred and sharp-witted.

But now, so many moons later, Pete found himself amongst Shadowclan rabble, a bunch of starving strays seeking respite and safety in his pocosin. And, after much consideration (and the dawning realisation some of his own kin were amid these new folks), he offered them to remain within his home. Since he has been given the name Peatgrass, though he far prefers Pete (or Pawpaw, for his lovely grandkits), and absorbed into the clan.

Though he's not one to talk openly about his life, it isn't hard to learn how extensive his family is, realising in his 100+ years of living, his family really did become a mini clan unto itself. Even more prying reveals his kin are more widespread than even he realised, as some had joined the colony and remained in Thunderclan following the split. Regardless of where his family is, he cares for them dearly, regardless of whatever clan politics nonsense says he should believe.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS Please verify names are not taken on the PREFIX CLAIM prior to committing to an app! You should reserve the name you pick just in case until kits are chosen! FFA genetics! Go wild with it, old man has had many partners and none of their genetics are solidified so go, be free. There are a total of 14 slots (Yes FOURTEEN!!, this man gets around), all with different age ranges, and they are all utterly blank slates. These cats would primarily be within Shadowclan; however, it is encouraged for there to be a small handful to have joined Thunderclan, for angst and/or fun plot points. These litters are FCFS! I don't expect high activity, but please tell me if you intend to drop them so I can readopt out the slots! The EXCEPTION to this is Pawpaw's living partner, I'm gonna be a little more particular with them. As long as you have the name, appearance, personality and note of which litter/slot, they will be considered! HOWEVER, you don't have to make a new cat; if you have an existing one that may fit the specifications without any existing family connections, you're free to apply with them too! Just add the same info so I can see what sort of cat they are if I am not familiar! I also intend to do a second round of this with grandkit (gen 2) litters! With your application, please include if you would be interested in more family adopts in the near future (or feel free to adopt them out yourself! Pawpaw loves his grandkits <3) RELATIONS Adopts are Generation 0 (Pete's partner & Pete's sibling), Generation 1 (Pete's kittens) & Generation 2 (Pete's grandkits).
