TRAIT TRAIT
——— High energy and high maintenance, Melonpaw is generally what one would consider a menace. A selfish creature, he cares first and foremost for his own wants, needs, and wellbeing - though that doesn't mean he isn't capable of empathy or compassion. Instead, it's quite the opposite - Melonpaw is just as likely to spend extra time hunting for the kits and caregivers as they are to keep the biggest, juiciest prey for themselves. Unpredictable at best and chaotic at worst, there is little rhyme or reason for Melonpaws actions - even if one was to ask the she-cat herself why she does or says certain things, she'd have no real answer beyond ' just because '.
In general, Melonpaw does not take well to being ordered around - authority is met with dismissive stares from his green eyes, and he's as likely to go out of his way to do the opposite of anything he's told to do as he is to loudly claim he's 'only doing it because he was already going to!' Rather, Melonpaw takes better to more subtle manipulations and roundabout suggestions - making the girl think it's their idea is generally the best way to get them to do something. Rebellious and free-spirited, Melonpaw tends to be a bit of a troublemaker - prone to pranks, wandering off, and neglecting her duties unless they're of particular interest to her. He's a girl who would much rather have fun then waste time doing something tedious and boring.
A social creature, Melonpaw is generally very chatty and outgoing - seeking attention both good and bad from others. Melonpaw is always the star of the show in her own mind - so why wouldn't she be for everyone else too?
Favors- bright colors
- flowers
- feathered prey
Likes- running

- hunting
Dislikes- annoying cats
- chores
- authority
Fears- fire

——— Despite Melonpaws general cheerful and upbeat persona, she is not immune to her own insecurities and faults. Overly trusting, his general well-doing and well-meaning attitude means he assumes everyone else around him is just as well-intentioned. On top of this, Melonpaw is rather simple minded - straightforward and always focused wholly on the moment. Because of this, Melonpaw is both easily manipulated and easily hurt by betrayals. Inwardly insecure, though Melonpaw would never, ever admit as such out loud, comments on her appearance and behavior are often taken to heart. He's a cat who feels a lot and feels it very strongly, so just as he is full of light and love to give, he feels every sting of jealousy and embarrassment just as strongly.
Melonpaw is not usually one to needlessly brag, but is easily dragged into daredevil shenanigans should they be challenged with their pride. Generally playful and mischievous, Melonpaw's behavior can sometimes come across as mean-spirited or ill intended, though if called out on it Melonpaw tends to withdraw into herself for brief periods before bouncing back. Generally, he is not a cat to hold onto hard feelings for long, but that doesn't mean the negative things he experiences don't still hurt.
— Melonpaw often rocks back and forth on her paws when meant to be standing still.
— Melonpaw's tail often lies flat against his spine while stalking prey, as opposed to most cats who hold theirs out behind them.
— Melonpaw always goes to bed curled up neatly in their nest, but eventually ends up sprawled upside down on their back. They also snore.
— Melonpaw has poor spatial awareness, and is prone to tripping over things - even if she's looking right at the object in question.
— Melonpaw is extremely affectionate in general, and tends to be overly touchy-feely with his clanmates and friends. There's no such thing as 'personal space' when Melonpaw is around.
