Gravedance will be the first to admit that the adjustment from her former life as a daylighter to that of a full time warrior has been a less than stellar adjustment. The skull adorned molly would never consider herself especially soft, she just enjoyed the comfort that her twolegs provided. A choice had to be made, between staying with them or joining their clan as they left in search of new territory. The choice at the time had felt obvious though moments like these make her question herself. "Fujimoto!" Her bark like call for her dear friend carries a slight whine to it, huffing in frustration as she tugs his attention away to the warriors den. "It's horrible just horrible" muttering to herself had always been a bad habit. Though she finds that it's gotten worse in the recent moons, stress she thinks, or boredom- it could go either way really.

"There's just so many of them! They're going to eat my entire nest" climbing she's fine with, battles are easy. The blood doesn't bother her nor does any viscera but this just might be her undoing. Nestled in her nest, amongst her prized four leaf clovers and wilting stems; there were several caterpillars enjoying their own morning meal. "Can we get rid of them? Without... killing them?" She didn't like the damned little things but she didn't exactly want their squished bodies all over her stuff. There was the issue of that she didn't particularly want to touch them either...

Reaching a broad paw in she grimaces at the feeling, flipping over her favourite flower in hopes that it was untouched. Only to find a particularly chubby bug happily ripping at the petals. A whine of disgust escapes her as she flings it towards the sun guard "oh ewww! Why do they have to be here?" This would never happen at her old twolegs den. A fact that she is left to quietly lament over, not wanting to let her doubts be vocalised at such a humiliating time for her. Instead finding the better alternative to be pouting and huffing over what she has decided to be the worst morning ever.

tagging @Fujimoto but no need to wait <3

DUSKPOOL
The older warrior paused, mangled ear swivelin' at Gravedance's bark for Fujimoto. His brow raised, lettin' out a small huff of amusement. "We live out in the wild, kiddo." He remarked from afar. "Gonna have to get used to seein' 'em crawlin' everywhere, I'd reckon." His scarred lips quirked beneath wooly fur, chest vibratin' with his deadpan drawl.

He had more than enough bugs climbin' into his nest. A well-worn nest that had seen better days. Duskpool ain't ever one to use materials, not when it could last longer, and the cycle repeated itself. "Reckon rosemary or mint will keep 'em away. The buggers don't enjoy the scent." He mused after a heartbeat, shruggin' a broad shoulder. A thing he'd picked up some time ago.

we're only haunted by the things we refuse to accept

  • DUSKPOOL he/him a storm carved in flesh and smoke, duskpool towers with the bulk of a maine coon and norwegin forest cat. his wooly black pelt bristles with ghost-stripes and scars—old wounds etched like lightning through dusk. one copper eye burns like molten steel and the other a mangled ruin of war. every step is heavy, thunderous—war-born, death-burdened, and unflinchingly alive.
