Barbie's been with the Rustclaws for a few moon cycles now. While far from apt to their skills, she had shaped up fast with the help of some of the older members. Luckily, the weather often gave her a leg up, too. She's in the least adept in hunting, well enough to hold her own with the incoming leaf bare. She can only hope the first time the snow falls, she'll still be able to sniff out the mice that hide amongst the junk of their home. Today, however, it's another simple venture.
She clambers up tall stacks of shiny silvers and sharp glasses, chasing the tantalizing scent of something new. Someone's pet bunny escaped their enclosure and got lost, she thinks, for this thing looks too soft and pampered to reasonably live amongst the muck and grossness of the junkyard. And yet, as Barbie leaps to finally take the relative-sized prey down, the ground beneath her shifts, and -
"Augh - fuck!" an incredibly loud, clattering, punctuating sound echoes after her words.
When other cats find her, Barbie has already hauled herself from the wreckage. She looks mostly fine, although her long, plumed tail finds itself pinned beneath a rusted piece of metal. "Dang it..." she pulls and pulls, but alone, she can't unstick herself.
