The Most Brilliant Plan Ever

The wind brushed against her sun-kissed fur, warm and gentle, waking her from her sleep. Fawnkit yawned, comfortable in her patch of sunlight that shone down on her through the trees. This is the life, she thought. Belly full, pelt clean and warm. What else could she wish for?
Well, maybe for so many adults around her to not be so grumpy all the time. Why be grumpy when there are butterflies to chase and grass to sun on? She heard murmurs, of course, whispers talking about a gathering, about a certain Hawkstar, whoever that could be, and about lives. Frankly, this was all a bit too confusing for her and she did not really care. Whoever this was should probably just clean their fur and relax. That's what helps her after all. Or snuggling with her sister. Did this Hawkstar not have any siblings to snuggle with? She wondered what life would be like without Dawnkit - would she be grumpy like the adults are?
A thought struck her - her tail shot up, for her ideas are always brilliant and this one was the most brilliant of them all! All she needed to do was find this Hawkstar and snuggle with her! Surely then all the grumpiness would vanish. Oh, Fawnkit was just so smart. Jumping on her tiny legs, she trotted towards the nursery, determined to find Dawnkit and tell her all about her brilliant plan.
Stepping into the nursery, she could feel the grumpiness all around her. The caretakers' whispering softly so the kittens wouldn't hear, their tails flicking nervously. Well, she was here to fix it all after all! Fawnkit spotted her sister Dawnkit curled up in the moss bed and bounced up to her, poking her sister's side. "Hey Dawn!", she meowed right into her sister's ear, so she would hear her well. "Enough sleeping. I have a plan on how to fix everything! We are going to find Hawkstar and give her cuddles!"
