APPEARANCE
Sable is a sturdy black-and-white tom with spiky fur, and amber eyes.
Sablestar stands at an average height for a domestic shorthair cat. At his shoulder he stands at approximately nine inches to the shoulder, and from his ears to his tail marks a nineteen inch length. As far as size goes, there is nothing that speaks out of the ordinary to his appearance. His gait is slinky and each step is made with confidence. Sablestar is a light stepper and isn't commonly heard or seen stomping, but more sneaky and willowy.
Sablestar's eyes are his most remarkable feature. A set of burning honeyed amber that can be quite expressive, they sit upturned and narrowed most of the time and commonly stand guard to what he's thinking.
His pelt is coated in sleek black hairs with plum undertones that stretch down his sides, the length of his tail, and his paws. White fur hugs the fluff of his cheeks and dips under his chin. From his throat down to his belly and up his tail contrasts his pelt with white. The midsection of his legs are wrapped in the same hues, and in the center of his face white hairs speckle outside the blaze on his nose. His coat is visibly prickly and coarse, lacking much plush or softness to it, and tufts up in bundled strands around his shoulders and hide. One of Sablestar's most notable features are the cowlicks between his ears that had once affectionately been called his 'horns'. Streaks of fur are missing in place of old scars, most notably across his backside and a short mark above his nose.
Refined muscle is hidden beneath the midnight landscape of his fur. Sablestar can be easily underestimated for his lack of obvious build, but his experience in age makes him no stranger to a fight. Sablestar relies more on his environment against his enemies, using his appearance to stay hidden, and the lithe sinew around his legs to keep him agile and quick.
